Story
Stanley is the ultimate "good boy" rescue. At 8 years old, he has the heart and energy of a puppy and is looking for a dedicated partner to be his constant sidekick. He's an expert snuggler who loves all people and will reward his favorite humans with endless kisses. Stanley is highly motivated, lives for his post walk treats, and will beat you at a game of tug of war. He can be social with other pets and gets along great with cats and non-dominate dogs.Because he is a sensitive soul, Stanley is easily frighted and needs a predictable, calm home where he feels secure. He has some fear based leash agression (growling at other dogs on walks) so he needs a patient handler who uses positive reinforcement. Health wise, he has a known heart murmur and occasional "reverse sneezing" fits; neither have required medical attention or caused functional issues, but they are good to monitor with a vet. Stanley is a sweet, loyal, energetic companion ready for his next chapter.
