Meanwhile, 6-year-old Susie has her own quirks, dealing with skin allergies that require a little extra TLC. Dova is a 7-month-old Chihuahua/Pug mix weighing just over 9 pounds, complete with an absolutely adorable little underbite. She can be shy with new adults at first, but give her a little patience and she quickly becomes an affectionate, playful girl who wants to be right by your side—or in your lap! Dova loves other dogs and would enjoy having a friendly canine playmate. She’s also done well with cats and children. She is crate trained, sleeps through the night, and is doing great with potty training. Still very much a puppy, Dova loves to play, chew, explore, and occasionally announce her opinions with a surprisingly big voice. She’s looking for a patient family who can help her settle in, keep the chew toys stocked, and provide plenty of cuddles once she decides you’re her person.
