Story
Betty is a complete mess! But she is so special and personable, she is the most beautiful soul - inside as well as out.Betty was scheduled for euthanasia. For no reason other than a skin condition. She was missing 90% of her fur, itchy, covered in wounds and scabs. She is looking and doing better, she is on a hypoallergenic food and sees a doggie dermatologist to see if there is anything else we should or could be doing for her. She loves cuddles and bum scratches and is looking forward to having her own fur back so she no longer has to wear sweaters and coats! We still have a bit to go, but we are enthusiastic that Betty will make a full recovery and a wonderful companion! We require professional obedience training from a certified trainer for ALL adoptions. If you are interested in meet or adoption me, please fill out an adoption application at www.boxersandbuddies.com

Story
Max has the potential to be a very good dog for someone. He doesn't do well with little kids younger than 11. He loves older people but I would not let him get near a child less than the age of 11. He doesn't get along with our male dog but loves paling around with our female. He is good in the house once he claims down. He will chase our cats but has never had an opportunity to get them so I don't honestly know what he would do if he ever caught them. He needs lots of training and TLC. He barks and everything and anything. Max isn't a bad dog we just can't have him here anymore because he is a little to aggressive towards our 1 year old granddaughter. He gets a little unsure with her and our young nephew who is almost 3. So he cannot be trusted around young children. He does well going on walks. He is food aggressive and he will bite if you reach in while he eating. I think if he gets the right training and TLC he needs then he would make someone a wonderful companion.
