Story
I love Tanjiro very much and he's an amazing dog. I ended up back to work on the oil rigs and I work away 20 days at a time and my wife is having a difficult time to take care of the two dogs and our 3 year old daughter. I want him to have a good and loving home. I'llmiss him very much but I just want to make sure he's in good hands. He grew up with my baby daughter and is used to being around kids. But he's definitely more of an adult person dog. He's very lazy and just likes to chill and cuddle.

Story
Max is a small, young black pug with a big personality packed into his wiggly little body. Still very much a puppy, he’s full of bounce, curiosity, and charm—always ready to play or soak up attention from his people. He gets along well with other dogs, especially younger ones who can match his energy, though he’ll still need some supervision during playtime. Max loves going for walks and struts proudly once his harness is on, even if getting him into it is a bit of a silly dance. He already knows how to sit, is mostly house trained, and will happily snooze in his crate at night without much fuss. Having spent time in both a shelter and a foster home, Max is eager for a forever family who can give him consistency, patience, and plenty of love. With his puppy energy, sweet nature, and goofy charm, Max is sure to bring joy, laughter, and endless wiggles to the right home.

Story
Leo is a tender-hearted gentleman with a soft spot for human companionship and cozy naps. At 7 years old, this black pug has mastered the art of staying close—whether it’s curling up beside you for a snooze or keeping a watchful eye on his favorite person. He’s not one for wandering far unless he’s on a mission, and when he is, he’ll follow a path with surprising purpose and a brisk little trot. Leo prefers a life of leisure. He’s not a fan of stairs, but with patience (and maybe a lift), he’ll get where he needs to go. On leash, he enjoys a slow stroll; off leash, he’ll confidently follow trails like a seasoned explorer. At night, Leo insists on sleeping with his humans—no exceptions. A crate is acceptable only if his cuddle quota has been met. Leo deserves a family who will cherish him endlessly. He may be learning what it means to truly have a home, so patience and understanding are key. His ideal family will be prepared to manage his allergies (itchy paws, yeasty ears, daily meds), offer lots of cuddles, carry him when stairs are too much and keep him warm in cold weather, Leo is housetrained but marks, so belly bands are a must. He’s learning, growing, and thriving—and he’s ready to spend his golden years wrapped in love, comfort, and companionship.

Story
Have you been looking for a beautiful shiny black pug? One with ultra sweet pugitutde? Meet Imogene! Imogene is 7 years old and about 18 pounds. She loves cuddling, squeaky stuffies, walks, treats and being part of the family! When Imogene came into rescue, her ears were swollen closed with a terrible infection. She has healed, however she was left with a permanent head tilt. She requires regular ear cleaning to prevent further damage. Prompt veterinary care is a must if an infection develops. Imogene also is prone to bladder stones and urinary crystals, so she MUST be on a special diet and not drink tap water. Imogene is mostly house trained and uses a dog door. Imogene is great with other dogs- but prefers ones her size, adores all humans, and just wants to be loved and cherished. She may have some separation anxiety at first, but once she begins to feel comfortable, she does fine. She definitely would prefer to be with people more than not though! In the car she gets a bit anxious, but eventually settles down. Whoever adopts this endearing girl will be super lucky! Imogene is spayed, up to date on shots and microchipped. To meet her, please fill out an application on our website ahome4spot.com and watch for events she’ll be attending!
