Story
Samson is a 4-year-old male pug with a sturdy build and a heart full of sweetness. With his calm energy and soulful eyes, he’s the kind of pup who thrives on routine, affection, and cozy naps in his favorite bed. This thick boy is reliably house-trained as long as he’s on a consistent schedule. He’ll let you know when nature calls—usually by sitting patiently at the door and refusing to settle until he’s let out. Samson gets along well with other dogs and has met the resident cat in his foster home. While he barked at first, he quickly lost interest, so with the right feline personality, he may do just fine. Samson is learning basic obedience like sit, down, and stay, and would benefit from a home that’s ready to continue his training with patience and positive reinforcement. He’s not a fan of nail trims, so those are best left to a vet or experienced groomer. He loves lap time, tug-of-war, and snuggling with his plush toys—sometimes suckling them like a baby. He’s quick to greet his humans with excitement but settles easily into a calm, contented rhythm. He does well in his kennel both at home and in the car, and he enjoys backyard adventures, sniffing around and soaking up the fresh air before trotting back to the door when he’s ready to come inside. Samson would thrive in a home that appreciates his mellow vibe, respects his boundaries, and offers him plenty of love, structure, and plushies. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who’s equal parts playful and peaceful, Samson might just be your perfect match.

Story
Roscoe’s story began on the streets, found as a stray and estimated to be around two years old. Though a little underweight when rescued, he’s now fully vetted — vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped — and settling into foster life with curiosity and charm. This high-energy boy is alert, playful, and always ready for adventure, whether it’s a walk around the neighborhood, through a bustling public space or a ride in the car. In his foster home, Roscoe is thriving alongside other dogs and enjoys the company of respectful children. He’s still learning the ropes of house training — he wears a belly band indoors and gets frequent potty breaks. He hasn’t quite mastered letting himself out through the dog door yet, but he’s figured out how to use it and is making progress. Roscoe is also crate training and learning that his crate can be a cozy, safe space when he’s feeling anxious. Separation anxiety is part of Roscoe’s journey, especially at night when his foster mom isn’t nearby, but he’s working hard to build confidence. Loud noises and airplanes overhead can startle him, yet his food motivation makes training easier, and he’s beginning to respond to basic obedience cues. He’s a fast eater, so a slow feeder is a must, and he’s learning to eat from a dog bowl like a pro. Roscoe’s playful spirit shines through in his interactions with his foster sibling pugs, and his affectionate nature makes him a tight snuggler who loves being close. He’s nimble and clever — known to hop onto counter stools and sneak a peek at the kitchen counters — so he’s working on his manners and boundaries. While we don’t yet know how he does with cats, his adaptability and eagerness to learn suggest he’ll continue to blossom with the right guidance. Roscoe is looking for a home that can match his energy, offer patient training, and provide the love and structure he craves. In return, you’ll gain a loyal, lively companion who’s always ready to play, cuddle, and grow alongside you.

Story
Daisy is a petite 15-pound female pug with a heart full of love and a whole lot of puppy energy. Found as a stray, it’s clear she’s experiencing the comforts of home life for the first time — and she’s soaking it all in with curiosity, affection, and a playful spirit. This little lady thrives on companionship. She adores snuggling up with her humans, curling into cozy naps on the couch, and playing with her favorite peanut butter-filled Kong. Daisy is also learning fast — she knows how to sit for treats and is doing well with crate training. She’s great in the car and enjoys leashed walks, though she’s still figuring out elevators and prefers to be carried in. Daisy gets along well with other dogs and is learning the ropes of doggy manners and personal space. Her interactions with children and cats are unknown, but she’s shown a gentle and eager-to-please nature. She can be reactive on leash toward certain people or dogs, but she’s not aggressive — just still learning how to navigate the world. House training is a work in progress. Daisy sometimes marks indoors and has occasional accidents, especially overnight, so she benefits from frequent potty breaks and positive reinforcement. She’s improving steadily and responds well to structure and treats. Because Daisy has separation anxiety, she would thrive in a home where someone is around most of the time — ideally a work-from-home setup. She whines and jumps when left alone, and she’s happiest when she can be close to her person. She’s also a bit of a jumper — she can leap onto counters if given the opportunity, so her environment needs to be pug-proofed with tall gates and careful furniture placement. She’s a loving, playful, and resilient pup who’s ready to blossom with a patient, committed adopter who can guide her through the joys and challenges of home life. If you’re looking for a loyal snuggle buddy with a spark of mischief and a ton of heart, Daisy might just be your perfect match.
