Chubbs is a four year old male Pug/Jack Russell Terrier mix. He is learning some basic commands and how to walk on a leash. A sweet boy, Chubbs came to us a little unsure of things, but now loves attention. At 31 pounds, he is the perfect in-between size for anyone who might not know what size dog they are looking for. Chubbs is crate-trained, playful, and will be neutered prior to adoption. He is currently at the Shelter.  Here is the adoption process:   To adopt an animal you must complete an application and be approved. There is a $100 fee for any county animal which needs to be cash or a check - NO CREDIT CARDS. If the animal is not spayed or neutered, there is a $35 deposit which will be returned upon proof of surgery. All dogs must be licensed before leaving the Shelter. Please note that public offices that issue dog licenses are not open on Saturdays and Sundays.
