Story
Hi, I’m Ms. Bell, a twenty-eight pound Chihuahua pug mix with big soulful eyes, satellite dish ears that catch every treat bag opening, and a happy grin that takes over my whole face when I see you. At three years old, I am the ultimate balance of silly fun and pure sweetness. I like going for walks and chasing after toys, but my absolute favorite part of the day is melting into a soft cozy heap right next to you on the couch or burying myself under a mountain of blankets. I am a smart, quiet girl who is both house-trained and crate-trained. I get along well with canine buddies, but would truly shine as the single pet in a home where I can soak up all your love. Felines are a hard pass for me, so I am looking for a strictly cat-free kingdom where I can shine. I am naturally polite and rarely bark, though my sheer joy might make me hop up for a quick hello when you come home. A gentle reminder is all I need to remember my best manners. On a leash, I walk like a dream with just a tiny bit of guidance whenever my curiosity gets the better of me. If you bring out a tennis ball, prepare for endless entertainment because I will play fetch until your arm falls off. I have been zooming through some basic training, proudly showing off commands like sit, shake, down, and drop it. Once bedtime rolls around, I turn into a total blanket burrower, wiggling my way down under the sheets like a little warm burrito. Come meet me and discover how much brighter everyday life is with a sweet Chug in your heart. Ms. Bell's adoption fee is $300. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.FOUND STUCK IN A DRAINAGE PIPE! Two weeks of good foster care, and Daisy is improving big time. Gaining weight, hair is coming in nicely. Even her back legs are working better. Thank you Rose's Rescue for helping me to feel better!! As always, Rose's Rescue is open to foster to adopt or permanent adoption of our animals Hello world, my name is Daisy and I am a senior pug-chihuahua mix found stuck in a drainage pipe. If I could, I would tell you what happened to me, but I cannot. My rescuers say that someone had to place me in there as there was no other way I could have gotten in there. I am putting that all behind me now and moving forward. I am 10-12 years old, weighing in at about 15lbs. My coat is a mess because of fleas, but things are much better now. I do have compressed discs in my spine, so my hind legs don't work as well as they should, Still I am quite mobile and love to walk, investigate everything, nap, and of course eat! I am a loving and fun girl in need of a loving quiet home where I can lay in your lap for my final years. They say my teeth are really bad and I am not spayed, whatever that is. Dental and spay are scheduled. I am looking forward to better teeth. If you think you are the one that can give me the love and  lap I need after such a traumatic experience, please fill out an online adoption application. I promise I will try to be a very good girl for you!   If interested, you can easily fill out an adoption application by clicking here:  adoption application For those viewing on Petfinder, if you are interested in adopting this animal please click on More About Rose's Rescue, you may fill out adoption application from there. Story
Hi, I’m Trixie! I’m a 6 year old Chihuahua/Pug mix with 21 pounds of personality packed into one very cute little package. I recently found myself looking for a new home after my family went through a major life change, so now I’m ready to find someone who will make me part of their everyday life. I do well with both dogs and cats and I’m very friendly with strangers. I’ll happily come over for pets and curl up in your lap. I do enjoy short play sessions with a furry friend. I’m a true couch potato! Minimal exercise needed. I love chasing toys now and then, but I spend most of the day napping on my favorite chair. I can be a little anxious or vocal at first, but I calm down after a few minutes when my foster peeps head to work. I think I’d make a wonderful companion for someone who likes a sweet little dog with a bit of confidence and character. At six, I’m past the puppy stage and ready to settle into a home where I can enjoy being someone’s beloved girl. Take one look at my happy face and tell me you don’t want to come meet me. Trixie's adoption fee is $300. You can learn more about Trixie and other dogs at Happy Bark by visiting www.happybark.org PA Kennel License 17445

Story
Hi, I’m Marley! I’m a 10-year-old Chihuahua/Pug mix with a gentle soul, a sweet face, and a very cute set of ears. At 15 pounds, I’m the perfect lap size to tuck in beside you while we watch the world go by. That’s pretty much my speed, too— because at my age, you learn to appreciate the finer things in life like soft pets and tasty treats. My previous family surrendered me when their circumstances changed, so I’m ready for a fresh start with someone who will appreciate what a sweet, easygoing companion I am. I can be a little shy when meeting new people, and I might bark briefly at visitors to politely announce them, but I warm up quickly and calm right down after a few minutes. When it comes to routine, I’m generally house-trained with only the occasional accident, and I’m completely reliable in my crate. I've passed all my testing with other dogs and cats! I did lose some hair due to a past flea issue; but most of it has grown back! I’m also more than happy to show off a wardrobe of snazzy sweaters in the meantime. While I love relaxing, I do have a fun, playful streak! I enjoy chasing toys inside until I tire myself out, and I like playing fetch with a tiny ball that is the perfect size for me. A moderate amount of play and activity keeps me quiet, calm, and happy throughout the day. I’ve also recently discovered a passion for enthusiastic rock-hunting (digging), so a backyard that can handle a couple of small holes would be ideal! I’m not looking for a complicated life—just a quiet home, a person nearby to share daily walks, and the comfort of knowing I’m home for good. If a gentle, sweet-faced little companion sounds like your kind of girl, I’d love to meet you! Marley's adoption fee is $225.
