Tater is a feisty 3yr old, 40# pug mix who thinks he’s a Cane Corso in a small body. He’s full of personality, loves toys, cuddling, and chin scratches, and his curly tail is almost always wagging — especially when you come home. He adores his stuffed lamb toy and will bring it to you for tug, fetch, or just admiration. He’ll chase cats for fun but backs off if they stand their ground and has never hurt any. He plays great with female and smaller dogs but can be competitive with male dogs, so a home with female dogs or as an only dog may be best. Tater crates well for a workday without accidents but needs a regular potty schedule when loose. Unknown with small kids. Overall, he’s a happy, playful little guy who will bring lots of fun and affection to the right home. Adoption is $200 which includes his spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccines, microchip and current monthly prevention. At 8 years old and a perfect 20 lbs, she’s the ideal size for cuddling—and cuddling just happens to be one of her favorite activities. This affectionate girl adores attention and will happily accept all the pets you’re willing to give. She’s housebroken and crate trained (though she doesn’t really need one), making her an easy, low-maintenance companion. She is spayed and microchipped and up to date on vaccines. Molly’s needs are simple: a soft place to sleep, cozy blankets, and a human who enjoys giving gentle affection. With her calm demeanor and loving nature, Molly would be a wonderful match for a quiet home looking for a loyal, easygoing friend. This sweet little girl (possibly a Puggle mix) was found dumped on a property in Piketon, along with a male pup. She is 16 pounds and full grown. We are calling her Trixie.When she was first found, she was skin and bones . Since then, she has been treated for worms and fleas, and shell be spayed as soon as she gains a little more weight. She is fully vaccinated and has been seen by the vet.Trixie is doing great with other dogs, learning to play with toys and is less stressed about food each day. She knows there is plenty to go around. Trixie loves to sleep by your feet, take a few runs around the yard and is starting to play with toys. Shed be a great companion for someone seeking a calmer, more cuddly friend. You can apply to meet her ricopetrecovery.orgAdoption fee is $250. It covers vaccines, spay and microchip.
