Abbie is a sweet senior looking for a lap to sit in, she came to us when her mother passed away . She is currently living in a foster home with 2 other dogs and is doing good with them but at times does want to be the one in charge . She is housebroken and very friendly and does not act her age .

Attention from other animals and all types of people is her favorite and she'd just love a happy home! Likes: She loves carrying a toy outside and then leaving it after she goes potty. She asks for the sweetest cuddles and she can sleep all day or follow you around to give you company. Dislikes: She's super easy going and we haven't found any so far What makes this dog special: Always happy and wants to play and cuddle! She is just so happy for a second chance. Hope's adoption fee is $350. All fees include spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations, worming, flea and heartworm current. Hi. Hello. Yes. It is me. Pookie. I arrived as a stray on 2/17/26, which honestly feels very “mysterious main character energy” if you ask me. The humans think I’m about a year old. I think I’m about 12 years experienced in the art of Being Adorable. Let’s just address it right away: I am slightly… forward. By “forward,” I mean if you have a face, I will be in it. If you have a lap, I will be on it. If you have a treat bag, I will somehow already be inside it. I don’t know how it happens. I don’t ask questions. I just commit. Personal space? Never heard of her. I believe: Your lap = My throne Your snacks = Our snacks (mostly mine) Your attention = Immediately required You may need to store delicious treats in a high location. Like… very high. Possibly the ceiling. I am not saying I am a mastermind, but I am not not a mastermind. Despite my enthusiastic snack management skills, I am actually super sweet and affectionate. I love people. I love being petted. I love being involved in absolutely everything you are doing at all times. Folding laundry? I can help by sitting on it. Watching TV? I will watch your face instead. Trying to walk somewhere? I will escort you by standing directly in front of you. I am what the professionals call “the star of every show.” The show is always about me. You’re welcome.
