Gaining weight, hair is coming in nicely. Even her back legs are working better. Thank you Rose's Rescue for helping me to feel better!! As always, Rose's Rescue is open to foster to adopt or permanent adoption of our animals Hello world, my name is Daisy and I am a senior pug-chihuahua mix found stuck in a drainage pipe. If I could, I would tell you what happened to me, but I cannot. My rescuers say that someone had to place me in there as there was no other way I could have gotten in there. I am putting that all behind me now and moving forward. I am 10-12 years old, weighing in at about 15lbs. My coat is a mess because of fleas, but things are much better now. I do have compressed discs in my spine, so my hind legs don't work as well as they should, Still I am quite mobile and love to walk, investigate everything, nap, and of course eat! I am a loving and fun girl in need of a loving quiet home where I can lay in your lap for my final years. They say my teeth are really bad and I am not spayed, whatever that is. Dental and spay are scheduled. I am looking forward to better teeth. If you think you are the one that can give me the love and  lap I need after such a traumatic experience, please fill out an online adoption application. Hi, I’m Ms. Bell, an 18-pound Chug with big brown eyes and a smile that seems to take over my whole face. At three years old, I’m the perfect age for walks, playtime, and settling in beside you when the day winds down. Curious but calm, I appreciate regular walks and moderate play. I’ve done wonderfully in my testing and enjoy the company of other dogs. Cats, however, are not for me, so I’ll need a feline-free home. I’m house-trained (no accidents in the house at all) and crate-trained (no accidents in the crate). I don’t bark much. I can do a little occasional leash-pulling, but with a bit of guidance I walk nicely. I get excited and may jump to say hello, but I calm down quickly with gentle correction. Adjusting quickly to foster home life, I’m learning basic commands fast and absolutely love to cuddle. Come meet me and see why life is simply better with a Chug by your side. Hi, I’m Trixie! I’m a 6 year old Chihuahua/Pug mix with 21 pounds of personality packed into one very cute little package. I recently found myself looking for a new home after my family went through a major life change, so now I’m ready to find someone who will make me part of their everyday life. I do well with both dogs and cats and I’m very friendly with strangers. I’ll happily come over for pets and curl up in your lap. I do enjoy short play sessions with a furry friend. I’m a true couch potato! Minimal exercise needed. I love chasing toys now and then, but I spend most of the day napping on my favorite chair. I can be a little anxious or vocal at first, but I calm down after a few minutes when my foster peeps head to work. I think I’d make a wonderful companion for someone who likes a sweet little dog with a bit of confidence and character. At six, I’m past the puppy stage and ready to settle into a home where I can enjoy being someone’s beloved girl. Take one look at my happy face and tell me you don’t want to come meet me. Hi, I’m Marley, an 11 year-old Chihuahua/Pug mix with a gentle little soul and a very cute set of ears. I’m 15 pounds, so I’m just the right size to tuck in beside you while we watch the world go by. That’s pretty much my speed, too. I’m a lower-energy girl who likes to take everything in rather than rush through life. My family surrendered me when their life changed, so I’m ready for a fresh start with someone who will appreciate what a sweet girl I am. I passed all my testing with other dogs and even cats, and while fleas caused some hair loss for rme, everyone thinks my coat will grow back very nicely. For now, I consider it part of my “before” picture. I’m not looking for a complicated life. I’d be pretty happy having my person nearby, enjoying a relaxed day and knowing I’m home for good.
