Story
Max is a very good adult Pug who loves everyone he meets. I love Max very much, however, my husband passed away last November and I had to move. My landlord doesn’t want pets, so this is the reason I must re-home him. I am looking for a loving home for him.Max is:• Totally house broken• Very friendly with everyone he meets• A fan of car rides and walks• Neutered, microchipped, and vaccinatedMax would love a fenced-in yard, though it isn't strictly needed. He is a wonderful companion who is ready for his next chapter.💰 Rehoming fee: $200

Story
Happy Birthday! Serena just recently turned ONE (May 2026)! She's just under 20 pounds and is a 'designer breed' French Bulldog/Pug mix known as a 'FROG'. Despite the funny breed name, her striking black brindle merle coloring turns heads everywhere she goes, while her sweet, playful personality steals hearts. This is a pup who is 100% convinced that everyone she meets wants to be her new best friend....and she's not wrong. Even though Serena is a very gentle and submissive girl, she IS barely past her puppy stage so she's still up for making a few questionable life choices. Pens? Delicious. Remotes? Who's to say they aren't high tech nyla bones? She's still working on house breaking but she's 90% there, she just needs continued consistency and praise to take her the rest of the way. Fair warning, Serena is also a Stage TEN clinger. If you're sitting down, she's probably resting her head on your shoulder. If you're walking around, she's following you. At bedtime, she sleeps with her human and would prefer to be positioned as physically close as possible, somewhere between "cuddling" and "wearing you as a blanket." She loves other dogs and is always ready to play, which is why her forever home needs another playful canine for her to become besties with. She's also cat-friendly, although she does enjoy a good chase, so a feline who is dog savvy would probably be her best match. Serena has been wonderful with every person she's met and would love a family who wants a playful, affectionate companion who is happiest when she's included in the action. She'll need continued work on potty training and the occasional reminder that household electronics are not snacks, but she's a very sweet girl who is eager to please. Serena will be spayed this week and then she'll be ready to find her forever family. If you're looking for a dog who will enthusiastically participate in pretty much everything you do, Serena would like to apply for the position. Adoption Fee: $500 -- includes spay, microchip, vaccinations, and flea/tick/heartworm prevention.  Apply at pawsandprayers.org/adoption-application (only applications through this link are accepted). Contact your vet to authorize us to speak with them as soon as you apply -- applications will not move forward without it.
