Story
Meet Mary Lincoln Mary Lincoln may be a tiny girl at just 17 pounds, but she has a big story to tell.Mary showed up on someone’s property on June 19th, where she quickly made herself at home—helping herself to a few things from the porch! When people tried to approach her, Mary was far too scared to let anyone get close. To keep her safe, we had to use a humane trap to bring her to the shelter. When Mary first arrived, she was understandably very scared and shy. But this little girl is slowly learning that she is safe and that the people around her are here to help—not hurt her. Over the past few days, we`ve started to see little glimpses of the sweet dog hiding underneath all that fear. Mary is now wagging her tail and even giving her animal caregivers the sweetest little love nibbles. ??Mary needs someone who will be patient with her and give her the time she needs to build trust. She isn`t going to become your best friend overnight, but we believe that once she realizes she is safe, she will blossom into a wonderful companion. This little 17-pound girl has already taken her first steps toward learning that the world can be a kind place. Now she just needs someone willing to show her. Could you be the person Mary has been waiting for?

Meet Noel your very own Golden Girl If you have a soft spot for sweet seniors with a whole lot of love to give, Noel might just be your soulmate. At 10 years young, this gentle lady has mastered the art of cozy companionship and knows that life is better when you get along with your roommateswhether they bark or purr. Noel does wonderfully with other dogs and cats (shes even been caught napping beside one!). Noel is housetrained, cratetrained (though she doesnt need one), and knows how to use a doggie door like a pro. She adores being close to her people and is happiest curled up in bed right next to you. True to her Golden Girls spirit, shell happily hop into your bed on the first date and straight into your heart. She enjoys leisurely walks, walks nicely on a leash, loves car rides, and is always up for meeting new people and furry friends. Noel is a calm, affectionate girl who thrives on love and companionship. While shes a little overweight and has some minor dental needs, shes otherwise a chill, easygoing pup who just wants a soft place to land. Noel is an absolute pleasure to have around and would make a wonderful addition to a calm, loving home. If youre looking for a loyal best friend with a heart of gold, Noel is ready to be your girl. Story
Hello are you my new best friend? Im a sweet little gentleman who believes in three things: (1) doing the perfect number of pre-nap spins, (2) snuggling into blankets like its my full-time job, and (3) supervising couch time very closely (preferably right next to you). Quick Facts About Me House-trained: Yestotal professional. Commands: I know sit (treats make me a quick learner). Leash skills: Im pretty good! Sometimes I pause because Im thoughtfully considering my next move (no pulling, just opinions). Roommates: Ive been polite with the two dogs Ive met and Im non-aggressive with cats, too. Toy fan: I enjoy my plushie collectionLamb Chop, monkey, and elephant are my VIPs. My Ideal Home (AKA Where Ill Thrive) I can be a bit of a barker, especially when theres lots of noise and people coming and going. In a calmer, quieter setting, Im much more likely to relax and show off my champion-level snuggling skills. Photo note: My photographer was under the weather (and I was a very attentive cuddle nurse), so most of my pics are cozy indoor shots. Outside, Im too busy doing Important Dog Business to pose. Sweet, Shy, and Worth the Wait Im very sweet, but I take a minute to warm up. When Im feeling unsureespecially if Im already barkingI can get a little nervous if someone leans in or approaches quickly. Gentle voices, slow movements, and hands are for nice things help me settle fast. Give me a little patience and Ill give you a whole lot of love (plus blanket snuggles and carefully curated spin routines). Want to meet me? Swipe right on my profile and maybe we can meet up for puppucinos soon.
