Meet Henry! 🐾💙 Henry is one adorable little mix-and-match masterpiece. He’s got a tail that curls like a pug, a body that says bulldog, and a face that says, “Yes, I know I’m handsome.” 😂 Whatever went into making Henry, we’d say the recipe turned out pretty darn cute! Henry is also quite the ladies’ man. 😉 He loves playing with his female doggy friends at the center and is always happy to spend some time with his favorite gals. But underneath that playful exterior is a BIG cuddle bug. Henry loves being close to his people, and belly rubs are definitely one of his love languages. Roll him over, start scratching, and you’ve officially made his day! Henry is fun, affectionate, silly, and more than ready to trade rescue life for the spoiled-rotten lifestyle he clearly deserves. Cozy beds? Yes. Belly rubs on demand? Absolutely. Being told how handsome he is approximately 47 times a day? Required. Henry is ready to be somebody’s favorite boy!

Meet the new guy in town, Clay (A571661) Clay just recently arrived as a stray and has not yet been reclaimed. He is such a sweet little guy and incredibly social. Even when he is curled up in his bed with a warm blanket, he never gets so cozy that he won’t hop up and walk to the kennel gate to say hello. Clay walks beautifully on a leash and has been nothing but polite during his time with us. He does appear to have some skin issues which our vet will be evaluating soon. Any future adopters should be aware that he may require ongoing veterinary care to keep his skin comfortable and healthy. Clay loves treats and is a proud foodie. He does not seem to know many tricks yet, but he is working hard on learning how to sit.Clay is estimated to be around 7 years old and weighs 25 pounds. All animals adopted from Huntsville Animal Services are microchipped, appropriately vaccinated, spayed/neutered and given a 30 day flea/tick preventative.Ready to meet Clay? Stop by 4950 Triana Blvd SW in Huntsville, Alabama. No appointment is necessary to meet our available animals. All adopters must be 19 years or older and be able to provide a valid ID.
