However, Cosmo has a collapsed trachea (more severe than some cases), which requires a dedicated forever home that understands his special needs. With the right care, this spicy little guy can live a happy, comfortable life. What Cosmo needs in his forever home: • Harness only (no collars ever — they put pressure on his airway) • A calm, low-stress environment to help prevent coughing episodes • Short, gentle play sessions with plenty of breaks • Cool, clean air — no smoke, strong scents, vaping, or extreme heat/humidity • No young children (he does best in a quiet, controlled home) • A family committed to working with a specialized vet for his ongoing care and any needed medication • Love, patience, and understanding ❤️ Cosmo is scheduled for nose surgery (to help with his breathing) at the time of his neuter with a specialized veterinary team.
