Story
Approximate Age: 10 years Approximate Weight: 18 lbs Meet Pirate: Lively, Affectionate, Devoted! • The Perfect Roommate: Pirate has great potty manners, sleeps soundly through the night in bed with her foster, and has done well without a crate when left home alone. • Lively Spirit: While labeled as a senior, she has a youthful energy and is far from a "couch ornament." • Food Enthusiast: Pirate is highly food-motivated and politely takes treats during treat time with the pack. • People Oriented: She is a sweet, pack-oriented girl who loves to be part of the action and close to her humans. • Resilient Personality: Pirate is doing very well adjusting to having one eye; she is confident and adaptable. • Selective Socialite: Pirate is dog-selective. Though she can come on strong during initial meetings, she settles quickly and coexists well with non-reactive, neutral dogs who respect her boundaries. Pirate is a one-eyed adventure queen who is ready to bring her big personality and plenty of love to your home!
