Don’t let the name fool you — Chicken Nugget isn’t a snack, he’s a whole meal when it comes to personality, progress, and pure charm.
This adorable 1 to 2-year-old, 35-pound tricolor Boston Terrier mix has worked so hard since arriving at the shelter, and it shows. Nugget can still get a little excited coming out of his kennel (can you blame him?), but once that initial burst passes, he settles into a calm, curious, and very enjoyable walking buddy.
✨ What Makes Chicken Nugget Special:
Walks beautifully on leash and is super easy to harness
Has happily walked alongside multiple other dogs — playful and interested, with potential to be a great canine companion (meet & greets required!); he's even enjoyed some off-leash play with a female shelter dog
Passed an initial cat test with little interest (not a guarantee, but a promising start)
Spunky, fun personality with a sweet side
Loves scratches, leans warmly against you, and gives the best kisses
Treats affection like it’s his favorite thing in the world
Nugget would likely do best in an adult-only home or one with older kids (12+), where he can continue to thrive with structure, consistency, and love.
