Story
Hi, my name is Yogi. I’m a 5 year old little gentleman pug that wants to love and be loved. Originally from Yuma Arizona, I was uprooted to WA State. I’m not sure what happened to my first family but I’m actively seeking my permanent one! We believe my birthdate to be July 1st 2021 -that’s what my shelter paperwork listed. A long snuggle on the couch is the best thing ever, my level of energy needs a brisk walk in the morning and evening. A good session of ball chasing in the backyard helps with that too. I currently live in a house with three cats. Two are small and I struggle with not chasing them but ignore the one who is older and the same size as me. I have also lived with a variety of dogs. I do my business outside and sleep through the night a pen. Someone in my past loved me enough to teach me sit, stay, and leave it so I suspect I’d be pretty awesome with learning other commands. Hopefully, this has piqued your interest to meet me and see if I’d be a good fit for your home. We will give preference to a home with fully fenced yard, and if children live in the home, over age 5 please.

Story
Meet Mogi, she’s a perfect pug! Mogi is about 6 years old (January 18th 2020) best guess. She is very sweet and lovable, content with a lap to lay on. She loves to play but then just wants to snuggle up on the couch. She gets along well with all animals, dogs and cats alike. Mogi is crate trained and quiet while crated. She’s housebroken but entering a new environment, may have accidents for the first couple weeks of transition. Mogi is spayed, UTD on vaccines, microchipped and has had a rhinoplasty to help open her airway. She is experiencing some skin issues and may require ongoing cytopoint injections or apoquel to help with itchiness. Mogi would be content as a solo pet or in a home with other dogs/cats. We will give preference to a home with fully fenced yard, however, with the right exercise and potty plan, we may consider an apartment.

Story
Sprout is a sweet little pug mix with a heart full of love and a personality made for snuggles. He's incredibly calm, super people-oriented, and happiest when he's right by your side seriously... this boy will follow you everywhere like your tiny shadow. He gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes and cats, making him a perfect fit for a multi-pet household. Sprout is kennel trained and free-fed, and his favorite hobbies include sleeping, cuddling, and soaking up all the affection he can get. Though he was the runt of the litter, he doesn't let that slow him down especially when those random, adorable zoomie moments kick in! One of his cutest features? His little right white paw, which gives him extra charm and makes him completely unforgettable. Sprout is currently working on potty training and is making progress with consistency and patience he's a smart boy who just wants to please his people. With a loving home and continued guidance, he's going to shine. If you're looking for a loyal cuddle buddy with a gentle soul and a soft spot for being close to his humans, Sprout might just be your perfect match. We will give preference to a home with fully fenced yard and children over age 5

Story
Meet Buttercup, an almost 12 year old Pug/Beagle mix weighing 16 pounds.Buttercup’s story is a bittersweet one. She was adopted from us back in 2016 and spent years in a home, but sadly was recently found in a car with her owner who had passed away, along with another dog and a cat. Now in her senior years, she’s back with us, hoping to find a loving home once again. When Buttercup arrived, she was covered in fleas, but she’s since been treated and is feeling much better. As a senior girl, she does need a little extra TLC—she’ll require a dental and likely ongoing teeth cleanings, along with the typical care that comes with her golden years.Buttercup is incredibly friendly with a gentle, loving temperament. She’s also quite the talker and will happily “chat” with you to let you know what’s on her mind. With her sweet personality and adorable “little old lady” charm, she has a way of stealing hearts instantly.Buttercup deserves a soft place to land and a family to love her through her senior years. If you’re looking for a devoted, affectionate companion, she’s ready to meet you. This pet is available for adoption on 3/17/2026 at 3:35 PM at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center.
