Story
Honey is a 13-lb pug mix with a heart as soft as her name. This affectionate, friendly girl wants nothing more than to be your new best friend. Her favorite things in the world are snuggling close to her person and trying to play with any dog who will join her.Honey gets along beautifully with the small dogs in her foster home, is potty trained, sleeps through the night in her kennel, and is a dream in the car. She’s great on a leash, non-reactive, and would make a wonderful walking or hiking buddy. She’s also a quiet girl who rarely barks. With her puppy-like energy and love of daily walks, Honey would thrive in a home with another young dog to play with. She’s a total sweetheart who would fit into a wide variety of homes and bring so much joy to her new family. The Seattle Animal Shelter is committed to reducing length of stay for all of our shelter pets! Some pets qualify for FREE or reduced adoption fees, please inquire with our Animal Care team to learn more. Pets are complex beings and prior to adoption, interested adopters will be counseled by a staff member to discuss the specific needs for each animal. This will include reviewing all known medical and behavior information. ** Please note that some animals will receive numerous inquiries, sometimes more than we can process. Story
Meet Roni! He is 2.5 years old and weighs 14lbs. He is good with other dogs and kids. His energy typically scares cats away - he doesn't seem to mind. Roni is currently with a foster in Tijuana. Our next available transport date is 5/17/26. They must have either an approved foster or adopter in order to confirm their spot on the transport. From his foster: Roni is good with kids and dogs. Cats are unknown as they all flee from him because he has so much energy :) Roni loves to go for a walk on the leash and does well. He likes to play with furry pals and run around the yard. Roni is crate and potty trained. OUR ADOPTION PROCESS IF THE DOG YOU APPLIED FOR IS COMING ON A TRANSPORT: If the dog you applied for is coming on a transport they will have a future arrival date within their profile. You will need to pick up in Puyallup at the set time & day you are asked to arrive (no other arrangements will be made). There will NOT be a meet and greet. We will not have fosters ready for the dogs planned to go on trial adoptions. For this reason, we will be asking for a $100 deposit for any dog going on a trial adoption at the arrival of the transport. Which will go towards their adoption fee. If you cancel 72 hours before arrival this will be nonrefundable and considered a donation. To apply: Casadog.org/dogs To foster: Casadog.org/foster
