Meet Chanel, a nine-year-old Boston Terrier mix weighing 14.5 pounds. Chanel is a petite senior Boston Terrier mix with a whole lot of sweetness to give. She came to us with some eye issues and does have reduced vision, but don`t let that fool you — she gets around well and is a confident little lady.Chanel is a sweet, affectionate girl who is great on leash and would love a comfortable home where she can enjoy her golden years surrounded by people who adore her.Our veterinarian will evaluate her eyes before adoption. Depending on their findings, Chanel may need follow-up care with her adopter`s veterinarian and could require ongoing treatment throughout her life if her eye condition is chronic. Her vision is already reduced, so her new family should be prepared to monitor her eyes and help her stay comfortable.Chanel also has a naturally shorter tail than is typical for her breed mix. Short tails can sometimes be associated with medical concerns, so adopters should be prepared to discuss this with their veterinarian and monitor her for any related issues.Chanel may be a senior, but she still has plenty of love to give. This petite sweetheart is looking for someone who will appreciate her gentle nature and give her the loving, comfortable home she deserves for her golden years.This pet is available for adoption on 10/5/2026 10:16 AM at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center.
