Vera is kennel trained and house broke. She’ll politely whine when she needs to go outside to potty 🐶💬 She loves to play and get her zoomies out, then is more than happy to curl up next to you on the couch for some cuddle time. She has great recall, walks well on a leash, and would do amazing at a dog park where she can safely play off-leash with friends. 🐕🌳 Vera is the perfect mix of playful and laid-back, making her an incredible companion for just about any home. Meet Ruthie 🐾 Ruthie is silly, playful, loving, and absolutely full of personality. Crate training? A+ student. She settles in like a pro and is totally content snoozing in her dog bed after a good play session. Potty training is in progress and honestly going great. She had one accident her very first night and has been trying hard ever since. Once she’s on a routine, she’s going to nail it. This girl LOVES toys. Like… all toys. And so far she’s been very respectful with them, no shredding chaos here. She’s also great with dogs and kids and brings a lot of joyful energy to a home. Cats, though? Hard pass. They are simply too fun to chase and bark at, so a cat-free home is best for everyone. Ruthie’s party tricks include attempting a full baseball slide on her back to itch it and randomly launching herself at you for love. Don’t let the little legs fool you. The jumps are impressive. Hi! My name is Anna. I am a female 6-year-old Boston Terrier. I am spayed, microchipped, heartworm tested and current on my vaccines. 3 words that describe me: Shy, Friendly, Gentle Words from Anna's foster: Before coming to CRHS Anna was living as an Amish breeding dog. She was not treated as a pet and, as a result she needs a lot of help to become the confident little dog she could be. Anna is looking for that special person who is willing to work with her and understands that this will take time. She needs help with house training, walking on a leash and feeling secure enough to give affection. Anna has been in foster care since the beginning of December. She has been living with another little dog and really benefits from having another dog around. She has made some good progress. She sleeps well at night in her own little bed. She plays with toys and plays with the other dog. She will walk on a leash as long as she leads the way. She does not yet choose to come to you for affection, but she likes to be close and will allow you to hold her and pet her. Activity level/Energy Level (1-10): 5/10 I should do well in a home: Due to my shy demeanor any children in my potential home will need to be 8 years or older. I should do well in a home with other dogs given proper introductions and time to adjust. My friends at CRHS are unsure how I'd do with cats.
