Story
Peach is a 9-year-old female Chihuahua mix whom I adopted in 2021 when she was estimated to be 5 years old. She is an incredibly loving, cuddly, and sweet companion who is beloved by everyone who knows her. Temperament: Peach, unlike many chihuahuas, rarely barks! She loves people and is wonderful with gentle children. She thrives on attention and absolutely loves getting belly rubs from visitors. She has good energy for her age—she can walk for 45 minutes and still chases squirrels enthusiastically—though she’s not particularly playful with toys. Social behavior: She gets along well with dogs of all sizes, especially males, as long as they approach her gently and don’t make her feel threatened. She can be a bit reactive to dogs that approach too quickly on the street, but she’s actually quite playful with calm dogs like our neighbor’s elderly golden retriever. Health: Overall good; needs dental care

Story
Meet Ed, your future snuggle buddy and loyal little shadow! Ed is a sweet, affectionate dog who loves being close to his person and will happily curl up beside you or greet you at the door with a toy and a tail wag. He gets excited for walks, adores car rides, and loves sticking his head out the window to take in every smell. Ed came from a shelter and can be nervous at first, but once he feels safe he becomes a loving, goofy, and incredibly loyal companion. In his foster home he has blossomed with patience and has even gotten comfortable living with another dog after slow and careful introductions, though he is still unsure when meeting new dogs out and about. He will be happiest in a calm home with no children. Ed is about 4 years old, has a handsome merle tan and gray coat, and a charming crooked ear from an old injury. He is fully potty trained, polite about furniture, easy to walk, and will proudly shake your hand when he is feeling confident. A standard rehoming fee applies.

Story
Asher has been part of our family for over six wonderful years after we adopted him from Jelly’s Rescue in Richmond, CA. Originally rescued from China, Asher has a gentle heart and loving nature. He bonded deeply with our older mutt and our young son, sharing toys, food, and affection with everyone. He loves slow walks, long naps in sunny spots, and recently discovered a love for camping — exploring trails and relaxing by the fire. He’s eager for more adventures and companionship in his next home. With our busy family life and frequent time away, Asher isn’t getting the attention and activity he needs. He did have one startled bite when two kids sat on him unsupervised, but he’s a kind, loyal dog who thrives in calm, loving environments. Asher deserves a home where he’ll be cherished, included, and able to enjoy life’s adventures. Per DNA testing he is 99% Beagle.
