Meet Ophelia — the sweetest little Frenchie mix with a tongue that’s always ready to say hello!
Ophelia is a gentle, loving girl with an adorable little tongue that peeks out and melts hearts instantly. She came into rescue pregnant and bravely delivered two healthy pups right away and now that her babies are safe, it’s finally *her* turn to find the forever friend she deserves.
This compact cutie loves going for walks, and she *really* loves a good back scratch, if she finds just the right spot, she’ll happily drop down and give herself a full back rub routine. She knows how to sit, will get down when asked, and if you’re lucky, she’ll offer her signature high-five when she’s in the mood!
Ophelia likes to make new friends slowly and on her own timeline, but once she feels comfortable, she warms up beautifully. Because she prefers a calmer environment, she would do best in a home with adults or older children who can respect her pace. She can zip around the house like a little bunny when she’s excited, it’s impossible not to smile watching her happy hops.
She is housebroken, crate-trained, an excellent listener, and wonderfully well-mannered. Whether she’s chasing a ball, chewing a bone quietly, or curled up right next to you, she’s happiest simply being by your side.
Ophelia will give her family a lifetime of love, she’s sweet, loyal, and truly the best friend you’ve been looking for. Sweet, loving, best friend material!
