This playful, outgoing, and intelligent boy is great with cats, dogs, and children, making him a wonderful candidate for many types of families.Barney came into our care because he was previously kept as a strictly outside dog, and when the weather turned too cold, he could no longer stay there—through no fault of his own. Now he’s ready to learn what being a real dog is all about: cozy couches, warm beds, and lots of love.He isn’t fully housebroken yet, but Barney listens very well and is eager to please, so with consistency and patience, he should do great with continued potty training.Barney is looking for a loving home that will show him kindness, comfort, and guidance as he starts this new chapter. If you’re ready to teach a sweet boy how wonderful indoor life can be, Barney will reward you with loyalty, love, and tail wags. Come meet him and fall in love! ????

Wagner is an adorable, one-year-old Beagle who found his way to us as a stray after his finder suspected he may have been dumped—plus, he wasn’t exactly winning over the chickens. Despite his rocky start, Wagner has a gentle soul. He can be a bit nervous at first, but once he feels safe, he warms up quickly and shows his sweet personality.Like any true Beagle, Wagner has the classic hound nose that leads him on new adventures, which means he can be a bit of a flight risk. A secure home, patient family, and safe environment are essential to help keep him out of trouble and build his confidence.Wagner needs someone who understands that he’s still learning about the world and is willing to help him work through his insecurities. With time, reassurance, and the right guidance, he’s sure to blossom into an amazing companion.We would love to see Wagner find the loving, understanding home he deserves—and we hope that happens very soon!
