Meet Ginger! An adorable senior with the soul of a puppy. Ginger must be an only pet. She does not like to share her humans or her possessions. She divides her time equally between playing and cuddling. She gets a little grumbly if you decide to end either before she's ready but she does correct easily. I wouldn't recommend a home with kids because of her desire not to share. This sweet girl has a history of struvite crystals and does require observations for flareups. She also has dry eye and will need prescription eye ointment lifelong. Otherwise, she is in good health. If you are a strong, patient pack leader and are looking for a cuddly ball of energy, Ginger may be your girl.June 30, 2025, 10:08 pm

Samwell Tarly (aka Tucker) is back and looking for his forever home!  Samwell Tarly (knows Tucker) is a 10yo 20lb Boxer mix who was returned to us through no fault of his own. He is a polite, quiet boy who is house and crate trained, great on the leash and in the car. He has done well with dogs and children, greeting potential adopters with a friendly wag of his tail.  After 24 hours with him in his new foster home, we have learned many things about this sweet boy! 1. He is very well trained! He knows “sit”, “stay”, and “shake” and I’m sure there are even more!  2. He LOVES to be outside and to go for car rides!  3. He is such a smart cookie! He alerts for the bathroom and knows when it’s time to eat!  4. He has a huge heart and the softest ears! He’s a great snuggler!  5. He would make a perfect first pet for someone! Samwell is our first foster (and first pet) and he has done such a great job! He is still getting acclimated, but he’s been such an easy pup!December 1, 2025, 9:29 am

She does love the yard. But walks on leash. Potties as soon as she hits the grass. Uses potty pads too. Sits up like a squirrel for attention. Flattens out and rolls over for belly rubs when you pick her up. Crate trained but does not need to be crated. Loves a snuggly dog bed. And would sleep with you under covers. Burrows like a mole. Loves her people when she gets to know you. Is fussy when dogs get in her face and when she is in your lap. Corrects easily. Leash up before opening door.
