This short-haired cutie may possibly be a Puggle mix (pug + beagle), but his official breed classification is “Certified Good-Time Puppy.” His coat is the perfect wash-and-go model — meaning less time brushing and more time doing the important things in life like belly rubs, snacks, and telling him how handsome he is. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet  Mowie , a charming Chihuahua/Terrier mix with a survival story as cool as the storm he escaped!   Born around  August 4, 2024 , and weighing in at a sturdy  15.9 pounds , Mowie is the definition of a "tough guy with a heart of gold." He was discovered hanging around the guard shack at  Randolph AFB  just as a major ice storm was rolling in. The kind-hearted guards had been sharing their lunches with him to keep him going, but they knew he needed a warm hearth to survive the freeze.   Mowie is a truly great boy who is ready to trade base security for home security. He does have one quirky "occupational hazard": he’s a bit of a serial humper when it comes to other dogs, which hasn't always won him friends at the park. However, he was  recently neutered , and we are optimistic that this will help him keep his "enthusiasm" in check as his hormones settle down.   Mowie’s Stats: Birthday:  ~08/04/2024 (approx. 1.5 years old) Weight:  15.9 lbs Background:  Air Force Base veteran & lunch-sharing expert Personality:  Resilient, social, and brave If you’re looking for a loyal companion who has been "cleared for duty," Mowie is your man!
