Story
 Jenny is a 2 year old pure bred chocolate frenchie.  Jenny has been doing great and learning things in her foster home and is now ready to find her forever home.  She's great with kids, as long as they're respectful.  Jenny is getting used to people but is still nervous - she will go into her crate when someone goes to pet her but she's getting better.  She's a sweet girl and wants the love but doesn't understand yet.  She does not do well on a leash so she will require a fenced-in yard.  She also needs another dog - she thrives playing with her foster dogs and that needs to continue.'She is crate trained and housebroken but will use a pee pad.  If you want to meet her, fill out an application today. Story
Kanolli is a 5 year old Chihuahua/cockapoo mix who was an owner surrender when his previous owner could no longer care for him.  He is doing his best and learning to adjust to a new life.  We know that he loves treats and is very treat motivated.  He is leash trained and absolutely loves to go on walks but startles easily so we are working on that.  He is almost fully housebroken although he still has an accident occasionally.  He is still nervous from his move to his new home so we are giving him space and time.  He does well with other dogs and will require a fenced-in yard so he can run and play. Everything is new and different for Kanolli so he will need a home that is calm and someone who can take the time with him.  Patience will be key but once he knows you are his new person, he should settle in fine.  If you are interested in meeting Kanolli, fill out an application today! Story
Welcome to our rescue Gizmo! This handsome boy is a 4 year old purebred Fluffy French Bulldog. Gizmo recently came to us as a surrender. Gizmo is housebroken, leash trained and follows basic commands. Gizmo is crate trained however you will need to carry him to his crate; as he will lay down and show you his tummy in protest to going into his crate. Gizmo is a barker, he barks at everything, even things no one else hears! Gizmo is a flight risk, he does try to make a run for it each time an opportunity presents itself, therefore he will require a secure fully fenced in yard. He is very energetic in spurts and loves to run around in the backyard and play with the other dogs in his foster home. His play does need to be monitored as he doesn't understand his limitations; Gizmo has Intervetebral degenerative disk disease and has undergone spinal surgery. Gizmo will require specialized care for the entirety of his life. Most of the time Gizmo plays nice with other dogs, however he will randomly snap at them, especially the more energetic ones. Preferably Gizmo should be adopted as an ONLY dog in the home. We are willing to consider applicants whom have a small dog in their home that is VERY PASSIVE and low energy. Gizmo will require a home without small children. We are currently reviewing applications to find Gizmo an adopter who is best suited to care for him and his special needs.  NY AG & MKTS RR363
