Story
Ned is an 8 -month-old sweetheart with the most soulful eyes and an absolutely adorable disposition. He is extremely loving, smart, and funny — the kind of puppy who makes everyone around him smile.
To apply to adopt Ned, visit www.savesomesouls.com
Ned is a very gentle and submissive pup who gets along beautifully with his foster siblings and his humans. He doesn’t mind sharing his food or toys and truly enjoys being part of a pack.
This sweet boy loves to sunbathe and his favorite hobby is to steal toys and hoard them. :)
But most of all, Ned lives for affection, which he gives abundantly in return.
Ned is about 7 months old, weighs approximately 20 lbs, and will not grow more than 20 lb. He is fully vetted — neutered, microchipped, heartworm-negative, and kept on heartworm and flea preventatives.
Ned would be a perfect puppy for a loving family who has the time to help him continue growing into the wonderful dog he’s meant to be. He thrives on love and affection and would love a home where he can receive plenty of love, attention, and gentle guidance as he’s still very much a puppy.
Ned is currently being fostered in Houston, but he can be transported anywhere in the U.S. and Canada to the right home.
His adoption fee includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter surgery and recovery, heartworm and flea prevention), a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, Harness and Interstate Health Certificate for our out of state adopters.

Yards MUST BE adequately and fully fenced to adopt our pups. We do not accept electric or underground fences.
Our dogs are fully assessed by foster parents, vets and behaviorists, as well as videos and video chats are available to observe their manners in public. We are extremely transparent and like to share everything negative and positive with the adopters, to ensure it's a good fit and they are not returned to us, as the trips are very stressful on them. We need the parents to be patient and compassionate towards the changes that these pups are undergoing, being taken away from a home they came to know as their own to a new environment. 3-3-3 Rule of Adoption must be followed at all times to make adoption successful.
Houston is home to million strays, many who are abandoned, many born on the streets, many who escaped while living in the yard, which is common in Texas. Since our rescue does not get grants that shelters get, we use adoption fee to help the pups and kitties in our care. Your adoption fee goes towards vetting and feeding our long term and permanent fosters, and unadoptable pups, as well as towards the monthly care and preventatives etc of our pets. By adopting one pup from our rescue, you make room for another dog to be rescued from our high kill shelter, thus becoming an integral part of our mission to save as many unfortunate dogs off the streets and shelters as possible. So Thank You for choosing to rescue, and not go to a breeder.
