LOVES TO CUDDLE WITH HIS HOOMANS  DOB 5/25/23, weight 12.5 pounds Hey there, everyone! I’m Polo, and I’m a sweet, friendly, and affectionate tricolor Chihuahua mix fella who has the cutest white blaze on my forehead! I do best with lots of close family contact. Wouldn’t you know that cuddling in Foster Mom’s lap is my favorite spot and where I require plenty of quality time? I adore playing with the small dogs in my foster home, and I get along great with the resident cats and with kids. My size makes me an ideal apartment dog, but I relish my daily exercise. Nothing makes me happier than for Foster Mom to invest her time and energy into treating me like a big dog. I make it easy for her because I already walk well on a leash. True confessions: I’m still working on getting housebroken and kennel-trained. I was found with my best friend Paco on the side of the highway. If we were “dumped,” I’ll never tell! Thank heavens a Good Samaritan stopped and scooped us up because I’m much too small to fend for myself. I was so grateful to be welcomed into my foster home, but I’m now ready to bring my high cuteness factor and loving personality to my forever home. Could that be with you? Then arrange to meet me today! I promise to leave itsy-bitsy paw prints all over your heart. Although we’re available separately, Paco and I think it’d be the cat’s meow if we were adopted together. Two’s better than one, and we could keep each other company while you’re at work or on vacation. HOPE ID D25-0608-0031 Polo’s $200 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for heartworms, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment for heartworms and fleas. Online application: http://www.homelesspets.net/adoption-forms/dog-adoption.php If you have questions prior to filling out the application or want to find out which adoption site Polo will be this week-end, email us at lisagilchrist16@gmail.com ,  and a volunteer will get back to you. ALL WARM WIGGLES AND WAGS  DOB 6/29/23, weight 10 lb. Hey there, everyone! I’m Lilly, a sweet, friendly, and affectionate chestnut and black Chihuahua mix gal who became homeless when my owners were deported. My buddy Luis and I wandered around for days before a Good Samaritan rescued us from the mean streets of Houston. When I first arrived in my foster home, I was a little shy because I’m fearful of new situations. However, once I started feeling comfy here, I became all warm wiggles and wags. I do best with lots of close family contact. Wouldn’t you know that cuddling in Foster Mom’s lap is my favorite spot and where I require plenty of quality time? I adore playing with the small dogs in my foster home, and I get along great with the resident cats; however, the foster kittens annoy me, and the large dogs scare me. My size makes me an ideal apartment dog, but I relish my daily exercise. Nothing makes me happier than for Foster Mom to invest her time and energy into treating me like a big dog. I make it easy for her because I already walk well on a leash. Plus I’m kennel-trained. Now I’m ready to bring my happy and adoring self to bless my new forever family. Could that be with you? Then arrange to meet me today! I promise to leave itsy-bitsy paw prints all over your heart. Although we're available separately, Luis and I love the idea of being adopted together. That way we can be playmates and cuddle buddies while you're at work or on vacation. HOPE ID D25-0918-0039 Lilly’s $200 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, basic vaccines, microchip and registration, testing for heartworms, negative fecal test, and preventative treatment for heartworms and fleas. Story
5 months old Neddy is a very sweet pup, who has the most soulful eyes, and adorable disposition. He is extremely loving, smart and funny pup. Ned is a very submissive pup, who loves his foster siblings and his humans, and does not mind sharing his food, toys with them. His foster mom takes him to the lab where her colleagues take turn to petsit him, and he also plays with their pups, and enjoy the whole day, and snoozes when tired. Ned loves being petted and he gives lot of affection in return. He is currently about 5 months old, 16 lb and fully vetted and also housebroken, which he learned very quickly. He is kept on heartworm and flea preventative. He was rescued from a high kill shelter of Houston where he spent his entire baby time. He was a staff favorite, and that saved his life and he got a second chance. Ned is a perfect puppy for the right parent, and would love a home with a second dog to play with. Houston is home to million strays, many who are abandoned, many born on the streets. Elvis was one of them, who was starving when we got him, and all ribs and bones. He is very loved by his foster parents and, now, with proper food, and constant care, he started gaining weight and weighs 52 lb. His adoption fee includes all vetting (DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter surgery and recovery, heartworm and flea prevention), a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar, Harness and Interstate Health Certificate for our out of state adopters. Ned is currently being fostered in Houston, but can be transported to anywhere in the States and Canada to the right home. To meet this gorgeous pup via facetime or whatsapp or other video chat apps, please send a completed application via www.savesomesouls.com Yards MUST BE adequately and fully fenced to adopt our pups. We do not accept electric or underground fences. Our dogs are fully assessed by foster parents, vets and behaviorists, as well as videos and video chats are available to observe their manners in public. We are extremely transparent and like to share everything negative and positive with the adopters, to ensure it's a good fit and they are not returned to us, as the trips are very stressful on them.

Story
💕 Meet Tilly! 💕 Sweet Tilly can be a little shy in new places — she likes a few days to settle in and make sure everything’s safe. But once she warms up, her silly, loving personality shines through, and she’ll be your little shadow! Her adorable winky face (she lost one eye, but it just adds character!) makes her even more special. Tilly is potty trained with regular outings and crate trained, though she’d rather be snuggled up next to you. At night, she loves to burrow under the covers, but she’ll also sleep through the night in her crate with her giant stuffed puppy. Tilly is great with kids and dogs of all ages and would love a playful dog buddy to romp around with. She’s an active, fun little girl who brings tons of love and personality once she feels at home. 💖🐾 Tilly is a Female Chihuahua/Shih Tzu Mix that we estimate to be born around 3/5/2025 and weighs 12 lbs.

MEET REBA, the tiny redhead with a big personality! ♥️💋 This tiny redhead has got the heart (and sass) of a country superstar! Reba is a spunky, snack-loving chihuahua who’s potty trained, crate trained, and always ready to supervise mealtime. She’s a little skittish and startles easily, but she’ll warm up fast once she knows she’s safe — especially if treats are involved. Reba also has a special talent for finding anything you leave on the floor… consider her your personal “cleanup crew.” When she’s not hunting for crumbs, she’s all about cuddles, kisses, and staying close to her favorite human. If you’re looking for a funny, affectionate little shadow with a big personality, Reba’s your girl! Reba is a female Chihuahua mix with an estimated date of birth of 2/15/25. As of 10/29, she weighs 8 lbs.
