Story
All rise for His Royal Highness — Rex. And yes, the name fits perfectly, because “Rex” literally means king, and this distinguished little gentleman is absolutely ready to reclaim his throne… preferably on a soft couch covered in blankets. At 12 years young and a sturdy 11 lbs, Rex may be a senior, but he still has pep in his step, curiosity in his heart, and a deep commitment to professional-level snuggling. Rex came to us when his previous owner was unfortunately no longer able to care for him, but he hasn’t let life dull his sweet spirit. Already neutered and ready to go, this affectionate boy is eager to bond with his new person and settle into a life of comfort, companionship, and well-earned spoiling. He’s the kind of dog who wants to be close — a loyal little shadow who’s happiest curled beside you, soaking up love and giving it right back. Like any royal undergoing a glow-up, Rex has been treated by our vet for a skin allergy and is currently regrowing his luscious locks day by day. With a little TLC and continued care, his majestic coat is well on its way back to full splendor. Gentle, curious, and endlessly sweet, Rex is ready to trade past hardships for cozy naps, warm laps, and a forever home where he can live out his golden years exactly as a king should — adored, comfortable, and completely cherished. The dog adoption fee is $110. They come spayed/neutered, microchipped, first set of vaccines including DAPP (parvo combo), Bordatella (kennel cough), have been dewormed with Pyrantel, and have been treated with selamectin for fleas. Our website updates every hour, but some animals may be adopted faster than we can get them updated online. If you`d like to check on the status of an animal, please call us at 360-352-2510.
