Story
Meet Noah  — a brave, big-hearted boy who never stopped believing in love. Noah’s journey began on the streets of Los Angeles, where he was found dragging his back legs but refusing to give up. No one knows exactly what he endured, but what’s certain is that his spirit never broke. At just 2–3 years old, Noah has already shown more courage and joy than most dogs do in a lifetime.  About Noah: A gentle, affectionate soul who loves everyone — dogs, cats, and people alike. Gets around on his own and uses a little wheelchair for longer adventures. His favorite thing in the world? Feeling the sunshine on his face while exploring outside. Despite some lasting weakness in his back legs and minor incontinence, he’s happy, comfortable, and absolutely full of life.  His Perfect Home:Noah would thrive in a loving home with minimal stairs, a fenced yard, and easy-to-clean floors to help him move around with ease. He doesn’t let anything slow him down — he just needs a family who sees his strength, his sweetness, and the enormous heart that shines in everything he does.  Now safe in Tampa Bay, Noah is ready for his biggest adventure yet — finding a forever family who will love him for exactly who he is. He’s proof that resilience, joy, and love can overcome anything. Could Noah be the one to fill your home with hope and happiness?  ##2267891##

Story
PLEASE READ THE ANIMAL’S PROFILE AND ALL NOTES BELOW BEFORE APPLYING! Hi sweet friends… I’m **Tweety** 💛 I’m a 14-year-old Miniature Poodle, and I’m looking for a very special hospice home to spend my golden days wrapped in love. Let me tell you the most important thing about me: I am a Velcro girl. Wherever you are… I am right there. If you sit down, I’ll be in your lap. If you walk outside, I’ll follow you around just to keep you company. If you go to bed, I’ll happily tuck myself under the covers beside you — a spot I’ve absolutely earned at this stage of life. I just love being close to my person. I’m potty trained, leash trained, and house trained. I’m quiet, easy, and respectful in the home. I get along with other dogs (big and small), cats, kittens, and I’m friendly with people — but truthfully? I don’t need a crowd. I’d prefer a small, calm home with one to three people and **no kids**, please. I’m a gentle, submissive little lady who just wants peace and steady companionship. Even at 14, I’m still mobile! I have great eyesight, no arthritis, and I enjoy short walks and time outside. A small fenced yard would be perfect for me to safely explore, but I don’t need anything fancy. Just you. I will say… when I wake up and realize I’m alone, I get a little panicky. I don’t like feeling left behind. That’s why my dream home would be with a retired person or someone who is home most of the time. I’ve given a lifetime of love — now I just want someone who has time to share theirs with me. As for training? Oh no, sweetheart. This senior lady is not planning on learning anything new. I am perfectly content just being exactly who I am. If you’re looking for an easy, loyal, loving companion to keep you company through quiet mornings, afternoon naps, and cozy nights… I’m your girl. I don’t need much time — I just need the right person to spend it with. Love always, Tweety 🐾💛 A word from her foster: “Tweety has great eyesight and not even a bit of arthritis! She’s a total love bug who sleeps under the covers with me at night—and quite frankly, at her age and with her history, that spot is well earned. She is such an easy pup to have around.” If you’re looking for a devoted little shadow who will love you endlessly and make every day cozier, Tweety is ready to claim her spot by your side—and under the covers. 🐾💖 Adoption FEE: $150 which includes her spay, microchip, and vaccines. It is also a donation to go directly back to us to help us continue to rescue more animals. A Mercy Full Project (MFP) Adoption Application MUST BE COMPLETED in order for you to be considered as a potential adopter. By filling out the MFP Adoption Application you agree and understand that ADOPTION IS NOT GUARANTEED. We are not first come, first served and submitting an application does NOT guarantee adoption. You will be contacted by an Adoption Coordinator once your application has gone through the approval process. Please ONLY APPLY IF you are ready to commit to adoption.
