You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Adopt Skipper! This little guy is full of life, love, and laughter! Skipper was one of 3 mini golden doodles (along with Buoy and Sailor Red) found running the streets until they were saved by rescuer Connie Pavelich. They were so matted and covered in fleas, we knew no one was going to come looking for them as they would have to explain their condition. When their stray hold was up, our good friend Alicia at Neelys Pet Oasis volunteered to take on these three Littles with us and spent hours/days grooming them to get them feeling well again. Skipper is a spunky, playful pup approximately 1 yr old and 20 lbs, with energy to spare and a heart as big as his zoomies! He’s fast on his paws and always up for an adventure — whether that’s chasing a toy, exploring the yard, or soaking up hugs (his absolute favorite thing!). like a little circus dog, Skipper can jump into your arms from the ground...and he will. He is just so excited to meet people and share his affection. Training in progress: Skipper is crate trained and will thrive on structure and routine. He’s currently working hard on potty training and leash manners — right now, he’s not too sure about that leash and sometimes just flops over like a silly noodle , but he’s learning more every day! He will also need help in learning not to jump on people. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, affectionate companion who will keep you smiling and fill your home with joy, Skipper might just be your perfect match! She's gentle, quiet, and incredibly resilient despite everything she’s been through. This sweet girl is not leash-trained yet, but she is pad trained and very gentle when hand-fed. She's learning to eat from a bowl and starting to explore life outside her comfort zone. Lucy enjoys being held and seems to find comfort in gentle lap time and petting — her favorite spot is a soft dog bed in a quiet corner. Lucy is not aggressive and has never growled or snapped, even under stress. She’s shy and will need someone with patience and experience with unsocialized or hoarded dogs to help her continue her journey to healing.
