Story
Name: Bear Age: 5 1/2 years Weight: ~65 lbs Bear is a handsome Wheaten Terrier mix who has been waiting more than two years for his forever family. He came into rescue when his owner could no longer care for him, and he has made steady progress with structure and consistency. Bear is incredibly loyal and forms a strong bond with his person. He will do best in a home that understands his needs and can provide routine, patience, and gradual introductions. • Secure fenced yard required (no leash-walk lifestyle) • Cat-free home • Prefers an adult home or experienced home (separation anxiety; needs someone home much of the day) • Strong, athletic dog who benefits from structure All of our animals receive comprehensive veterinary care prior to adoption, including a full exam, age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, microchipping, spay or neuter, heartworm testing, and any necessary medical treatment. A vet reference, home and/or family visit, and an adoption fee are required. Transport options are available within our operating region, including Pennsylvania, the tri-state area, and New England.
