Story
Jilli is a beautiful 9 year young Mini Poodle, white/apricot. She prefers someone who is home lots of the time; because she does get attached to her people ! However if you need to go out for a few hours, tell her go to bed [to her crate, then cover it & she is quiet & settles down] BUT we only do this a few hrs a week. She is UTD on vaccines, spayed, had a recent complete dental done, so she is now putting on some weight. She eats Hills Kidney Care kibble w/ a little can food topper or cut up chicken. Here in her foster home she has gotten along with 2 other dogs but we think she would prefer to be an ONLY CHILD ;). She has good house manners, goes to the door when she needs to go out and walks quietly on her leash. Recently she has been trying to use a doggie door - still a bit leery of it patting her bum on her way in or out-poor baby. Please keep in mind Jilli is a cuddle bug, she loves to sit right next to you on the sofa or in your chair if she can squeeze in, yet she sleeps comfortably in a crate or dog bed OR in up On the bed if she’s invited. YOUR choice ! She comes when called knows the command “OFF” and is learning “ENOUGH” shush…. when she barks at deliveries or visitors coming to the door. She does enjoy the visitors once they are inside & she meets them. This girl is still a little anxious when riding in our van so we utilize CBD oil when we head to the Vets [it’s an hour drive for us]. We DO NOT know how she is with children; however the cat she has been around she has ignored ! If you would like to meet this cute cuddle bug go to: happytailshappyhomes.org. Fill in Our application so we can arrange a meet and greet.

Story
Meet Winnie! Winnie is a 3-year-old Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier weighing about 30 pounds. She is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccines—ready to find her perfect forever home! Winnie is a sweet, loving girl who adores her people. She loves pets, cuddles, car rides, and going on adventures with her favorite humans. Once she trusts you, her affectionate personality truly shines. Like many diamonds in the rough, Winnie needs a patient and understanding family willing to help her build confidence. The world can be a scary place for her, and she is nervous around visitors, other dogs, and cat though after getting a little acclimated to her foster home, she has been enjoying playing often with the other dogs her size. She will need continued training to improve her leash skills and help her feel more comfortable when encountering other animals. Because of her sensitivities, Winnie would do best as the only pet in an adult-only home. She needs a family that can provide consistency, patience, and a commitment to helping her succeed. Winnie has so much potential and is looking for someone who will see the amazing dog she is and continue guiding her on her journey. As part of her adoption, her future family will be required to enroll her in a basic training class before the adoption is finalized. Could Winnie be your perfect adventure buddy? If you're interested in adopting Winnie, please fill out a Statement of Interest through Alternative Humane Society. ##2771691##

Story
Meet Eddie (aka Eggnog!)  11 lbs | 9 years young | Neutered | Microchipped | House trained Eddie is a tiny gentleman with a BIG personality—and one ear that does whatever it wants (we love a trendsetter). This sweet and silly guy lives for walks, car rides, and treats… especially treats. While he’s proudly independent, he’ll occasionally choose your lap for snuggles and believes all large dog beds—and your couch—belong to him.  Eddie’s Ideal Home:• Quiet, calm environment• No other pets• No children or frequent young visitors• Someone patient who will let him settle in at his own pace Eddie has been through a lot, but he’s made incredible progress in foster care and learned how to trust again. He communicates through his behavior, so he’s looking for someone willing to listen, learn, and continue the structure that helps him feel safe.  Eddie does have a fear-based bite history, so he needs an experienced, committed adopter who will respect his boundaries and continue his training.  His Must-Haves:• Consistency and routine• Ongoing medical care + special diet• A safe space (crate)• A human who will love him for who he is—quirks and all Eddie isn’t a “perfect” dog—but he’s a special one. And for the right person, he’ll be an incredibly rewarding companion.  Ready to give Eddie the calm, loving home he deserves?Fill out a statement of interest on our website! ##2249906##
