Story
Chloe is a much loved ragdoll, however she is prone to crystals in her urine so she needs a special diet and the food is about $70 dollars a bag. Was not prepared for that at all. Very loving and likes to just hang out and snuggle. She was born on 10/04/2023. She is about 15lbs at least she was the last time I took her to the vet. Looking for someone who has time for her and able to afford her food and grooming needs. Thank you! I have more pictures if you are serious just couldn't figure out how to upload them here. PLEASE DON'T APPLY UNLESS YOU CAN AFFORD THE ADOPTION FEE! Too many have applied without seeing the adoption fee which is $700.00 Thanks

Story
This gentle soul spent over 10 years outside. I began feeding him outside my workplace 3 years ago. He brightened the days of nursing home patients who adored his quiet visits through their windows. After battling an abscess and chronic respiratory infections outside, I finally trapped him and got him the care he needed — neutered, healed, and thriving! Boyfriend is FIV-positive, likely from an old scuffle, but he’s strong as an ox per his vet, with clearer lungs and great bloodwork. He’s calm, quiet, and grateful — happy to nap, eat, and be gently petted. He’s low-maintenance, cat-friendly, and would be perfect for someone seeking a peaceful, loyal companion. After everything he’s survived, this sweet boy deserves a safe, loving home to live out his golden years in comfort. I can not keep him unfortunately. I am willing take him to my vet and cover vet bills in the future if someone is willing to take him into a loving home. It’s my calling to foster.

Story
OCTOBER 2025 PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BELOW. IT WILL ANSWER ALL YOUR QUESTIONS. If you still have questions after, we are happy to respond through email. It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life. The average lifespan of a cat is 13 to 20 years. Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat! TOULOUSE was saved by an independent rescuer. Well fast forward to a few years ago, the lady was killed by a drunk driver. We were asked to help with her rescues and to our dismay, her house was a horrific hoarding case. We pulled 55 cats that were still alive. Our rescue took 26 of those cats into out rescue. TOULOUSE is now healthy and ready for adoption. Meet TOULOUSE! This gorgeous Ragdoll has been through a lot, but despite his timid nature, he’s managed to hold onto his sweet spirit. TOULOUSE was rescued from a severe hoarding situation, and though he's had a long journey, he’s looking for a calm, understanding home where he can continue to heal and thrive. TOULOUSE is a cat of few words, but he’ll tell you everything you need to know with his expressive face and adorable antics. He may not be a lap cat or a cuddler, and that’s okay! He’s the type who prefers to keep his distance, but he’s still very social in his own way. He enjoys being near you and will often approach to check you out, respond to your voice with those signature Siamese cute faces, and entertain you with his playful little quirks. While he’s not one for being touched just yet, TOULOUSE can form strong bonds with people who understand his boundaries and give him the time and space he needs. His ideal home would be with someone patient and gentle who can respect his need for space, while still offering him companionship and a safe environment to feel comfortable. TOULOUSE may not be the type to curl up on your lap or snuggle close, but that doesn’t mean he’s not capable of showing affection. He’ll share his company with you on his terms and, in his own way, let you know just how much he enjoys being around you. TOULOUSE is looking for a forever home where he can feel safe and loved without pressure—just a calm, quiet place where he can live life at his own pace. If you're the kind of person who can appreciate a cat with a little more independence and who loves watching cute, quirky interactions from a safe distance, TOULOUSE might be the perfect companion for you! TOULOUSE is a DOMESTIC LONG HAIR / RAGDOLL BIRMAN MIX. He is 5 years 2 months old. He has lived with cats and dogs. Not sure of his interaction with the dogs he lived with. He has never been around children. TOULOUSE is currently at our rescue in Hemet, California. ADOPTION PROCESS: 1. Go to Workinwhiskers.com (Click on ADOPT) 2. Fill Out Online Form 3. Submit Online Application 4. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview 5. Will be notified of Approved Application 6. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED) 7. Official Meet and Greet with Kitty 8. Volunteers are usually at PetSmart between 9 am to 1 pm for cleaning ONLY. The cats currently at PETSMART you are allowed to go visit. A good time to come visit is between 5 pm - 8 pm (Monday thru Saturday) and Sunday 3 pm - 6 pm. The VOLUNTEERS are only there in the evening for 3 hours so please call the PetSmart location, email us or visit the cattery for VISITING HOURS. Most days are different 3-hour shifts. It's based on volunteer availability and store hours. Store hours change with holidays. ******************* If you call the PETSMART location, please ask them to physically check the cattery door for the current week's VISITING HOURS. ****************** The kitties at foster/rescue homes, we will accommodate as much as possible. But steps 1-6 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do the OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS. It is easier to do the meet and greets at the locations listed below. +++++ PLEASE NOTE: We only have cats in Murrieta and City of Industry +++++ PETSMART in City of Industry, California off Colima Road in Murrieta, California off Madison Avenue in Hemet, California off Florida Avenue in Palm Desert, California off Monterey Avenue The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, meet & greets, etc...once the phone interview and home check have been done. Gas donations always appreciated! ************* Please no calls to the rescue. No one is available to take calls. ************ If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets. Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption. We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out....be patient. TOULOUSE is ALREADY fully vetted. The adoption fee of $300 covers: Neuter FVRCP shots RABIES shot FELV/FIV test (Negative/Negative) Drontal Dewormer Stronghold Flea Control Microchip We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens. So, we do not do DISCOUNTS. If for some unfortunate reason you missed out on the kitten/cat you emailed about...I'm sure that we could help you with another rescue baby! Just ask! If you have any questions not covered here, please feel free to email us: Workinwhiskers2020@hotmail.com

Story
Meet Finn-Your Future Snuggle Buddy! Finn is a sweet, gently little kitten with a heart as soft as his fluffy fur. This cuddle-loving boy adores being close to his humans—whether that means curling up in your lap for a cozy nap or following you from room to room just to stay by your side. When he’s not melting hearts with his affection, Finn is a playful explorer who enjoys pouncing on toys, chasing shadows, and showing off his kitten curiosity. He’s the perfect balance of fun and snuggles! Finn would thrive in a home where he gets plenty of attention, love and time to play. He gets along well with other cats and would likely do well with children. He has not been exposed to dogs yet, but Finn appears to be a cat that could get along well with nice dog friends. If you’re looking for a loyal companion to brighten your days and fill your home with purr joy, Finn is your guy! Ready to fall in love? Finn can’t wait to meet you!

Story
Ronin is named after The Last Ronin, a comic mini-series in which the final ninja turtle seeks vengeance for his fallen siblings. Our Ronin earned his name by showing the same courage and loyalty from a very young age. Rescued at approximately six weeks old, Ronin was found caring for a tiny three-week-old kitten who had been abandoned alongside him. He kept her warm and safe until help arrived — we truly believe she wouldn’t have survived without his protection. Ronin is a sweetheart — a gentle protector with a playful, affectionate side. He loves spring toys, climbing, and racing around, and he’s a great eater! He gets along well with other cats, and likely needs to be with a friend, or he gets lonely. He loves to be in the same room with you and just hang out and watch t.v. Ronin can be a little shy in new situations, but with patience and reassurance, he warms up beautifully. He’s been around children and seems to do best with older kids, as younger ones can sometimes startle him. He hasn’t had much exposure to dogs yet. If you’re looking for a brave, loyal, and loving friend — Ronin is ready to be your little hero.

Hi I'm Nibbler and I'm the smallest of my litter. I struggled the most when coming in to rescue. The first thing I tried to do is nibble on my foster mom but I was too small. Now I am more of a cuddler than a nibbler - and I LOVE love
