This sweet girl is a petite, gentle soul with a calm, mellow personality. She loves spending her days perched in the cat tree by the window, quietly watching the birds and squirrels outside. She has a soft, peaceful presence and brings a sense of calm wherever she settles. She came from a tough start in life — she had her first litter when she was still a kitten herself — but now that she’s safe indoors, she is blossoming into a loving, easygoing companion who appreciates a quiet, stable home and gentle affection. She is currently living in a foster home with multiple cats and is polite and tolerant around them. She hasn’t shown strong preference toward or against other cats yet — she’s still acclimating — so at this time we’re open to placing her either as an only cat or in a home with a friendly, low-key resident cat, depending on the match and the home environment. She would be a wonderful fit for someone who appreciates a calm, sweet, observant kitty who enjoys cozy naps, window views, and companionship. Daphne is about a year and a half old — and she might just be the cuddliest girl you’ll ever meet. This affectionate sweetheart loves to be held. If you cradle her on her back, she’ll gently place her paw on your chest, close her eyes, and purr like she’s telling you, “Yep. This is exactly where I belong.” She’s incredibly friendly, trusting, and thrives on human love and closeness. Daphne’s story makes her even more special. She was found stranded on a tiny freeway island in downtown Los Angeles — and unbelievably, she survived there for nearly a month before finally being rescued. Despite everything she’s been through, she is nothing but gentle, loving, and grateful for every cuddle she gets. While in foster care, Daphne formed a beautiful bond with her best friend Clara. The two are very attached and would absolutely love to find a forever home together — a ready-made pair of love, comfort, and companionship. Daphne has just one wish for the new year: to be adopted with her bonded best friend, Clara . Sniffy is a long-haired tabby with high white spotting, born sometime in the spring of 2023 alongside her tuxedo brother Jeeves. Despite her age, she's very small and still has a bit of her baby-face, so I wouldn't blame you for mistaking her for a kitten! She's very sweet, and working her way out of the shy demeanor she's had since she was a kitten. So long as you give her the space she needs to get used to her environment, I'm sure she will be a gentle and loving addition to your home. She may also need additional support in potty training. For some context, she is one of many cats I and my family are currently trying to rehome. My late mother had an unfortunate habit of taking on any cat she could in her last few years. We are downsizing and cannot afford to care for all of them anymore, however dearly we care for them. Hi I have actually 6. I have 3 newborn kittens, 1 young adult and 2 adults. I need to rehome all 6 this week. Due to an illness my roommate is dealing with a lot of medical things as well I’m traveling a lot for work.
