Meet Maggie Maggie is an 11 year old purebred Ragdoll (birthdate 2/2/2015) She is good with children and gets along with other cats. She is unbelievably gorgeous with seal-point markings and clear blue eyes. We believe she would do best in a home that has cats but not lots of them because she has been a little stressed here at the shelter with the number we have. She needs to have a space she can retreat to. She has warmed up to several staff and volunteers but she does pick her people, so a meet is a necessity. She will come to you for loves but gently lets you know when she is done. She is a senior beauty that finds herself with us, as her family is no longer able to take care of her. Maggie has been let down and is dealing with the trauma of finding herself in a shelter full of cats at a time when she's supposed to be living out her life with the family she loved. We want to make sure she has the best home she possibly can. you be her new family? We do permit out-of-state adoptions. Adopters MUST come to the shelter to transport their new family member home. We do not ship, nor do we transport them to their new homes. Charles Smithgall Humane Society (CSHS) is a No kill shelter. Animals in our care remain safe with us until adopted. Cedar was rescued when just one year old by a friend, and my husband and I were very happy to have her become our pet. She has always been an indoor/outdoor cat, uses litter box indoors. She eats wet cat food—her preferences are the Friskies shreds—because she does not drink much water. Cedar has such a sweet personality. And she lets me know when she wants food or to go outside, and reminds me that her litter box needs cleaning. She likes to sit in front of the fireplace on chilly mornings or evenings, or nap on my lap. My husband was always Cedar’s person. Since he passed away, I’m the one whose lap she likes and the one to do the petting. I do enjoy her company, but I have found that I am allergic to cat dander. And also, she likes to follow her person around, and as I age it is becoming a potential fall risk. My family and I want to honor my husband by finding a good home for Cedar with someone who will love her and care for her as much as he did.

This is Zues, I rescued him about 3 years ago. He’s a big time eater , he lovessss food and he’s a cuddle bug. He needs a good home without multiple cats, I have 9 cats and he does not get along with one of them. He loves being inside and outside:)
