Ragdoll kittens & cats in Shenandoah, Iowa

Gus is a 9 year old Ragdoll male. He was recently adopted but the new adopters are now having financial issues and cant keep him so I am now looking for his FUREVER home. Gus was in my home for 5 years, my job responsibilities changed and for the last year he spent a lot of his time alone. Gus is very sociable and the alone time left him depressed. It made me feel so bad for him that after months of this I decided to rehome him. He needs a home where he can be the only pet. He gets really nervous around other cats and does not do well with dogs at all. He is great with kids. He is a lap cat and will sleep with you in bed, if allowed. He will come with an automatic litter box, a fountain watering system and the cat tree I got him years ago. Also has a cat carrier. He is declawed and was like that when I got him.He will come with a free vet visit.

He is a very social, loving cuddle-BUG and greets everyone at the door. He loves being carried in a kangaroo hoodie and will plop on you when you sit. He loves to sleep on me, especially on a routine (30-90 mins), loves doing tricks for treats and fetch. He’s got the ragdoll ‘limp’ gene so he needs to be handled with care, he’s like holding a newborn human. He goes with the flow and hangs out with everyone, immediately feels like part of the crew. He’s not the brightest in ways but in others will surprise you.. Gus is a silly, loving goofball. He's healthy (though he does need room to run/exercise) and comes with everything he needs.He’s been insured with Healthy Paws since he was a baby and the policy is transferrable.Feel free to ask me any questions – I want to ensure GusGus finds the right home.
