While Charlie often gets a lot of attention from his striking beauty, we see him for more than that; it's his character that really shines. Charlie is a gentle soul who is very shy and reserved. Charlie enjoys scratchers and would benefit from a variety of them in home. While he is playful and enjoys pets once he is comfortable, he has long and hard adjustment periods reactionary to change. Due to his life experiences, being skittish is something our cat behaviorist believes will likely be a long term part of Charlie's personality. While Charlie has had a tough time, he deserves a loving owner who can meet his needs and care for him through the rest of his days. Charlie needs a lot of patience, dedication, and an experienced and understanding person with a quiet home. He promises he will reward with lots of love and gentle kisses. To be considered for visiting Charlie, you MUST fill out an adoption application beforehand and agree to and be able to do the following in order to be considered: **MUST be willing to work with shelter director and cat behaviorist during his transition period** - it will likely be months of hiding after going home, so need someone very patient and knowledgeable about correct ways to socialize a cat, as well as with plenty of time to dedicate **Must be willing to visit the shelter multiple times for at least one month once a week with our cat behaviorist prior to bringing home for adjustment period** **Home cannot have kids, a dog, multiple pets, or more than 2 people in the present or future. You don’t need to wait for Saturday morning cartoons to enjoy the entertainment! 😂 Brothers Tom and Jerry and their sister Toots are located in a foster home in central Ohio. These adorable kittens are about 2 months old and have all the ingredients for a hit show: playful antics, friendly personalities, and enough cuteness to steal the spotlight! 🎬❤️ 💉 Prior to adoption, all kittens/cats are tested for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) and FeLV (Feline Leukemia), and they are all current on vaccinations at the time of adoption. Took in a stray (named “Baby”) and she ended up being pregnant with one kitten ( “Lint”). Both cats are spayed and pretty reserved. Lint is more social, but she has started being aggressive toward my 2 year old daughter (swatting and hissing, unprovoked). We are about to have a second child and do not want to risk her acting the same way toward our newborn. Baby is very timid but loving when she warms up to you and has never acted aggressive toward anyone. Would prefer to keep Baby and Lint together since they are mother and daughter. Can provide food/ water bowls and litter boxes as well.
