While Charlie has had a tough time, he deserves a loving owner who can meet his needs and care for him through the rest of his days. Charlie needs a lot of patience, dedication, and an experienced and understanding person with a quiet home. He promises he will reward with lots of love and gentle kisses. To be considered for visiting Charlie, you MUST fill out an adoption application beforehand and agree to and be able to do the following in order to be considered: **MUST be willing to work with shelter director and cat behaviorist during his transition period** - it will likely be months of hiding after going home, so need someone very patient and knowledgeable about correct ways to socialize a cat, as well as with plenty of time to dedicate **Must be willing to visit the shelter multiple times for at least one month once a week with our cat behaviorist prior to bringing home for adjustment period** **Home cannot have kids, a dog, multiple pets, or more than 2 people in the present or future. We have had Ruby and her sister Penny for 6 years, and it absolutely breaks our hearts to let her go. We have tried everything to deal with the (newly developed) cat allergies in our home. Ruby is quite independent, she enjoys napping in a quiet place and occasionally showing her humans some love. She particularly enjoys action...things being done around the house, whenever I would have a DIY project Ruby would keep me company throughout as my helper. I believe she would be ok in a home with or without her sister Penny, as they are more sisters who tolerate each other than a bonded pair of cats. Ruby has just had her most recent pet visit and is fully up to date on vaccinations and has an overall clean bill of health.

**PLEASE READ** This post is for 2 cats. They have been together since they were kittens and I don’t think they should be separated. They are very sweet and well behaved. Unfortunately they aren’t getting the attention they deserve due to changes and can’t be cared for properly. They should go to a better home. They are 4 years old. They are both spayed/neutered, Walter (male) is orange and MJ (female) is the mix color. No adoption fee but they are a package deal. Looking for a a good home for them.
