Story
Pico was one of a pair of feral kittens. Although he has become friendly, his brother was not and keeping them together did not promote trust in Pico. He loves breakfast time and will come running for his wet meal of the day. He is a pretty blue color and has the coat type and white boots of a Ragdoll although his breed is unknown. His adoption fee is $95. Expect an adjustment period for this baby in a new home.

Story
This is Ripley. She wondered up in my friends backyard and came right up to both of us instantly. We tried to locate an owner but fell short. My roommate is extremely allergic to her so I need to find her a new home. I am having to keep her in a single room so that is the confines of her life right now. She is extremely sweet and estimated that she was around 5 years old. I would love nothing more than to keep her but I love her enough to let her go to a home that she can roam. She has to be fed wet food as she throws up dry food. The vet thinks she gorges herself because she was on the streets originally and just eats too much in one setting. She is very lazy and is excellent at lap sitting. Good with dogs once she warms up and great with kids. I just want to see that she goes to a great home. She does have cauliflower ear on one side that she had before she came to me. It is unknown how she obtained that.

Story
Experienced adopter needed for Malachi. Malachi is a 5 year old Ragdoll, healthy and fully vetted, likes other animals. He was surrendered by his owner who can’t keep him and she’s a very nice woman. But Malachi is slow to trust without her. He’s intelligent and he leans on the aggressive side when he gets scared, which is why he needs an experienced adopter. He needs time to acclimate. He needs patience and he shouldn’t be rushed because when he is startled he is capable of scratching or biting. Our vets can’t find anything at all wrong with him, so it’s strictly behavioral. His adoption comes with one session with an outstanding behaviorist to give Malachi his best shot. We will one thousand percent take him back if it isn’t a fit, though that’s our policy on any of our cats. Once a Saving Hope animal, always a Saving Hope animal. Malachi is also on a G.I. diet, we aren’t sure he really needs to be on it for life, but we don’t want to change anything right now. This is a special cat who needs a special adopter. Kids will not be an appropriate match for him. He is available for adoption in the DFW area only. You must submit an application to be considered for adoption. We cannot reply to all inquiries, but respond to all no obligation applications. Fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/cat-adoption-application It doesn`t obligate you, but it is the first step. Fee is $400 which includes first years vaccinations, combo testing, spay and microchip.

Story
Amy is a very sweet snowshoe girl with a beautiful marbled coat. She has belonged to a young girl since she was a kitten and now the girl has gone away to college and her father has to rehome Amy because she has no caretaker now. She will be scared at first but her nature is to be loving and hang out with her owner so she will be just fine if someone wants to take it slow and give her alittle time to adjust to a new home. Her adoption fee is only $50. She is spayed, plus all dewormers and vaccinations and she is also microchipped. And she is so much prettier in person. We don't know how she would be around other cats because she was always the only cat in the house. She wasn't too crazy about the dog, but he was very big and very active. She might do just fine with a small dog. Contact us by text to schedule an appt to meet her. 214-949-2247

Story
Jax is a funny playful guy. He is well loved by everyone in our family, except our dog. Jax would enjoy playing with the dog, but our dog becomes irritable and aggressive toward the cat. For Jax’s safety, we have decided that it is necessary to find him a home. I would call Jax a proximity cat, he will not curl up in your lap, but he does want to stay close to where you are at all times. He is sweet and friendly and likes to be scratched on the chin. He has good litter box manners.
