Story
Cotton is a gentle lady who loves to nap. Our vet has estimated Cotton to be about 6 years old. She has great hobbies--she loves to nap, get petted, and eat a snack. Cotton absolutely loves people and enjoys chit-chatting with you. If you ask about her day, she'll happily update you with little mews. She’s a great buddy to have around: she’s started sleeping on the foot of her foster's bed and has made a lovely bedmate. Her fosters also report that Cotton has been getting more playful, enjoying the wand toy and some pom poms! Since coming into our care, Cotton has been fully vetted. You'll notice a bit of a tilt to one of her eyes. Our vet's assessment is that it's due to an old injury. It does not seem to cause her any pain, and she has no vision issues. She has also had a dental procedure to clean up her teeth and have several removed - but she bounced back quickly and seems to be much happier without them! Cotton is ready to make your home her home! Put in an adoption application today for this sweet cotton ball.

Story
When Zelda came to the rescue, we had trapped her and 6 other kittens at the solar farm in Spotsylvania. Zelda is a beautiful cat who enjoys petting. She requires good grooming as her long fur tends to get matted. Zelda would thrive in an environment where she could get more individualized attention than we can give her at the rescue. Zelda gets along well with the other cats in the room. She's a relatively quiet and laid back cat. We feel that her personality would come out more if she was the center of attention as she deserves to be!! Contact AdvoCats at 540-419-5335 to schedule a Meet & Greet!

Story
Meowticia is a sweet independent girl that would be better suited to a one cat home. She is a rescue kitty that is 5 years old. We have tried every way to integrate her to our multi pet household and she is not fairing well. We adopted her as a kitten but the past year, she had just been so unhappy. She has been on kitty Prozac for a year now and she is still experiencing behavioral issues. I ultimately feel like I have failed her because the other rescues are doing tremendous. With that said, at this point, even the vet said we should look into rehoming her, to a one kitty home. They feel she may even be able to come off her meds and be less stressed if we rehomed her. I don't know what's next, I just want the best life possible for her. I want to know she will be well taken care of and that whomever adopts her will keep up with her regular vet visits.
