Story
Say hello to Melonie (A565983)! This girl is one of our new friends from Etowah County, so she is still settling in with us, but she wasted absolutely no time showing off her personality. Melonie is spunky, social, and always ready to make a new friend. If you stop by her kennel, do not be surprised if she greets you like you have known each other forever. She is the kind of dog who is ready to hand her heart to anyone willing to take it. ??Melonie loves getting outside to romp around the play yards where she can stretch her legs and enjoy a little fun. Toys, exploring, and soaking up attention are all right up her alley. That said, once she has burned off some of that playful energy, she is just as happy to curl up beside you and settle in for a nap. She appears to be some kind of terrier mix and is a great medium size. Young and full of life, Melonie would do best with a family ready to give her a little structure and guidance as she continues learning the ropes. With her friendly personality and eagerness to connect with people, we think she is going to make someone a really wonderful companion. Melonie is guesstimated to be 10 months old and weighs 40 lbs. All dogs adopted from Huntsville Animal Services are spayed/ neutered, microchipped, dewormed, appropriately vaccinated, and receive a topical 90-day flea/ tick preventative.Ready to meet Melonie? All you have to do is stop by our shelter at 4950 Triana Blvd and head to our dog areas. You can find her in kennel D16. All adopters must be 19 years or older with a valid ID
