Because of her age and weight, we ask that there be no small children in the home where she lives. Kids don't always know their own strength. A Rat Terrier mix, Betsy's foster describes her as calm and sweet and that she gives off &#194&#147old lady vibes.&#194&#148 She's a friendly girl who loves to roll in the grass! Peter Pan is a 3-year-old male Rat Terrier/Dachshund mix who has already been neutered. He was found, as a stray, near a local business; and no owner came to reclaim him. Peter Pan's coat is mostly black; and he has quite a bit of white markings with just a bit of brown markings. This very handsome guy weighs only 17 pounds. Peter Pan is a little doll of a dog! He is active but friendly and affectionate. As you can see in his pictures, Peter Pan is curious and always has an alert stance as he listens and takes in everything that is going on around him. Peter Pan is a bit timid and nervous when he first meets you. When given a bit of time to settle in, he settles down and is a joy to be around. We believe Peter Pan will get along with other dogs just fine; and would be fine in a home with older children. Come meet Peter Pan soon.Dog/puppy adoption fees are $120. Cat/kitten adoption fees are $75. All pets will be spayed/neutered before adoption; or you will be given a discount spay/neuter certificate to be used at participating vet clinics to help with the cost of spay/neuter. Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices.
