Story
Kody is my late husband’s dog. He absolutely misses my husband. He is extremely smart and loves kids. He’s active and loves to run. He loves attention. Kody got along with my other two dogs, however is very food aggressive. Therefore was fed separately. He would be protective of my late husband and his space. By this I mean growl and even be aggressive. Since I lost my last dog, there is no competition and he’s been very docile. I have 3 cats and he’s great with them and raised my last two kittens with him. However, I don’t know what he would be like with another cat? Kody loves to run. It’s important to know that who ever adopts him, they need a secure yard. If he gets out, he will take off. He’s done that on my property and will come back within a few minutes. This behavior has improved over time. He can also jump high. I put up hot wire on my 4 ft chain link fence and he hit that once and is now respectful. I’m looking for a loving home that he deserves.
