She was found as a stray and was understandably fearful at first, but it doesn’t take long for her to blossom into the loving, gentle soul she truly is. With patience, kindness, and positive reinforcement, she’s made incredible progress and continues to shine brighter every day. Miska smiles with a silly grin showing her beautiful white teeth, making her even more adorable as if that was possible. Miska doesn’t have a mean bone in her body—she is kind, gentle, and incredibly well-mannered. She’s not a barker and settles into a home as if she’s always belonged there. She especially thrives with other dogs around, as they help her feel more confident and bring out her playful, happy side. About Miska: Crate trained & potty trained, Great with kids, cats, and all dogs, Obedient and well-behaved, Quiet and calm (not a barker!), Sweet, gentle, and affectionate. Miska is truly one of a kind—the perfect addition to a loving home ready to give her the life she deserves. If you’re looking for a loyal, gentle companion, Miska is your match. She has had 2 vet visits, is spayed, Microchipped, UTD on all vaccinations, had a 4 DX test (testing for Lyme disease and two types of tick-borne illnesses), flea/tick/heartworm prevention (Nexgard Plus), 2 dewormings, and a 2 fecal tests. Percy is the sweetest little boy. He came from a home with several dogs so when he got into his foster home he is getting smothered with love and attention every day and is LOVING IT! He sleeps in his crate at night, is really coming along on potty training (he is smart). Percy gets along with all dogs and cats. His favorite thing is being close to his person! Our adoption fee helps cover expenses (vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter, food, housing) for the homeless pets we rescue. UAF does not adopt or ship outside the state of Arizona. To ensure the best fit, UAF conducts a home visit to meet other pets and verify a safe, secure yard. If you have any questions or to adopt a dog an application must submitted.
