Story
Kody is my late husband;s dog. He absolutely misses my husband. He is extremely smart and loves kids. He active and loves to run. He loves attention. Kody got along with my other two very food aggressive. Therefore was fed separately. He would be protective of my late husband and his space. By this I mean growl and even be aggressive. Since I lost my last dog, there is no competition and he;s been very docile. I have 3 cats and he's great with them and raised my last two kittens with him. However, I don't know what he would be like with another cat? Kody loves to run. It's important to know that whoever adopts him, they need a secure yard. If he gets out, he will take off. He's done that on my property and will come back within a few minutes. This behavior has improved over time. He can also jump high. I put up hot wire on my 4 ft chain link fence and he hit that once and is now respectful. I;m looking for a loving home that he deserves.

Story
Hi! I’m Jordan! I am a 9 month old, 13 pound rat terrier puppy.  I am no too sure what is rat terrier is but I do know I am a happy and bouncy little guy who loves playing with toys, sitting in laps, and getting belly rubs. I’m a little shy when I enter a new home with new people, but I warm up quickly and I get along with all dogs instantly, probably because I used to live with a lot of them. I don’t think I had a lot of rules or commands in my last house, but my foster mom is teaching me and I’m getting the hang of them pretty quickly. One of my favorite things to do is taking walks. I am now leash trained! I’d love to find a furever home with patient people, and at least one other dog to play with. Jordon is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. His adoption fee is $350, which helps cover medical expenses for the rescue. If you are looking for an adorable and sweet pup, please complete our online application at:  Application .  *Please note that the application is not a commitment to adopt–it is a tool used to help determine if a dog and applicant would make a good match. Applications are forwarded to the foster family for review and follow-up .  January 25, 2026, 9:00 pm

Story
Meet Avery — your next adventure buddy in a petite package Avery is a sweet little girl we believe is a Rat Terrier mix with the most gentle, loving soul. While she may look bigger in photos, Avery is actually quite petite — a perfect size for cuddles and adventures! Avery is a fantastic walking and hiking companion and truly enjoys being out and about with her person. She rides great in the car once she’s inside, though she can be a little unsure about hopping in on her own at first — just another reminder of her sensitive, gentle nature. She’s a bit shy when you first meet her, but it doesn’t take long for Avery to warm up. Once she does, she loves getting pets and soaking up affection. She takes treats gently, walks well on a leash, and has shown no reactivity toward other dogs so far. She’s simply a very sweet, easygoing girl who wants to feel safe and loved. Right now, Avery is living in a kennel, and we know she would truly thrive in a foster or forever home where she can relax, build confidence, and show off her full personality. She’s ready for her next chapter — all she needs is someone willing to give her that chance. &#226&#156&#168 Interested in helping Avery?
