Story
Our Freddie is extremely smart, loving and energetic. This girl loves a tennis ball and will walk on water for one. She also loves her big blue ball and her pool. She will spend all her free time trying to balance that ball on her head. She is shy for about three minutes when she first meets you. Give her a few kind words and a tennis ball and you have a best friend for life. She has done well on her crate training but would do much better out of the rescue environment. She would love an active family to love. We did a DNA test on our sweet girl and were shocked at the results. I could have swore this angel was a beagle mix but the results are: 61.7% American Pit Bull Terrier 21.9% Rat Terrier 10% Chow Chow 6.4% German Shepherd

Story
This is Spencer - a "jack rat" terrier 2-3 years old.  He came in from animal control -his owners were allowing him to roam freely and not taking care of him.  After some much needed veterinary care, Spencer is now ready to be adopted!  Spencer has lots of personality -he is super outgoing and has no idea that he is a little dog, he is afraid of nothing!  He would be a great dog for a more active home looking for a dog that would like to go for long walks.  He is good with other dogs after a slow introduction -again, he is unaware of his size and thinks of himself as a "big man".  Older kids would be fine -we do not know about cats.  Spencer is very smart and has learned commands easily.  We know he will be a great pet for some lucky home!  Spencer is up to date with shots, neutered, crated trained/housebroken, and treated for heartworms/on prevention.  Please visit our website and complete an adoption application at www.myhstc.org Adoption fee is $85 We screen all applicants prior to adoption; to be screened, please complete an adoption application at www.myhstc.org We do allow out of state adoptions.  However, we do not transport nor ship sight unseen pets for many reasons.  We require travel in person adoption. ##2764224##
