Meet Pedro Santiago! Pedro is a 1&#226&#128&#145year&#226&#128&#145old, 11 pound, Rat Terrier mix with a big heart and a friendly spirit. He does well with kids, adults, and other dogs, though he may be a little shy at first. Because of his small size, Pedro can be a bit unsure around large dogs, but he does very well with small and medium&#226&#128&#145sized dogs and enjoys having canine companionship. With his medium energy level and affectionate nature, Pedro loves being around people and would make a wonderful family companion. Training & Manners Pedro is potty trained on a schedule, can hold it for eight or more hours, and sleeps through the night. He is not crate trained, but he is non&#226&#128&#145destructive and does well free&#226&#128&#145roaming in the home when he has another dog for company. Leash training is still a work in progress, but he’s improving every day and is eager to learn with the right guidance. While Pedro isn’t perfectly trained yet, he has a solid foundation and tons of potential. Ideal Home Pedro would do best in a home ready to help a young dog continue learning and growing. A secure, fenced&#226&#128&#145in yard is needed since he’s still young and not leash&#226&#128&#145trained yet. Because Pedro can be vocal when left alone, a home with no shared walls is ideal.
