Small Paul was found running the streets but he is loving his own backyard and sofa time with his foster family now. This little Rat Terrier is just under 20lbs, neutered and up to date on vaccinations. He is completely house trained, and crate trained. Although he might be a little fearful and wary at the first or even second meeting, once you’ve passed his tests with patience and treats, he will greet you with excited stubby tail wags and snuggles on the sofa. He likes to be the first one to approach new friends and will sit at the feel of visitors in the home quietly as he gets comfortable. Small Paul loves nothing more than to spend the day patrolling the backyard, making sure no squirrels, rats or cats have infiltrated the grounds. He is super playful and loves tug of war and lives for walks out in the neighborhood. He is also extremely treat motivated and would love to learn new tricks. He would love to have a retired couple or person who stays at home with him all dogs or perhaps a quiet home with someone who doesn`t have a lot of in and out company. Small Paul will need a home with a securely fenced backyard (a doggie door would be amazing). Definitely no cats, best if no small kids. He has a lot of energy to play and run around, but will cuddle on the sofa and even let you sleep in! Read up on Rat Terriers if you haven’t been around the breed. Welcome to the scene Lex Luther! This sweet boy is the exact opposite of his name sake - there's not an evil bone in his body... Unless you count his love of chasing the neighborhood cats. Having come in off the streets, this buddy can be slightly skittish and shy at first, but he opens up quickly. He loves to give kisses, receive pets, and roll around on soft blankets. Although fully crate trained, we are working hard on house training and he has already come a long way. His zoomies are the best entertainment! If you are looking for a kind, gentle boy to add to your family, look no further!Lex Luther is Heartworm positive. Adopters should discuss heartworm protocols with their veterinarian to determine treatment.
