Story
Meet Kiko and Kody! These adorable 8-year-old Rat Terrier brothers came to us after being surrendered to local animal control. They are sweet little guys who love to sit on your lap or shoulders. Kiko is a bit over 10lbs and Kody is a bit under 10lbs. They are a bit picky about dog friends, but seem to do better with small, mellow females. They're wonderful boys and have quickly become staff and volunteer favorites! Kiko and Kody are a bonded pair and looking for a home together. They may take a bit to warm up, but once they do, you'll have two little besties!

Story
Meet Nova!   Nova is a beautiful 10-month-old rat terrier weighing about 14 lbs. She has a sweet, gentle heart and is just waiting for the right family to help her blossom into the amazing companion she's meant to be.   Nova can be timid in new situations, but with patience, kindness, and encouragement, her confidence grows every day. She's looking for an adopter without young children who understands that building trust takes time and is willing to continue her training using positive reinforcement. The reward will be a loyal, loving little dog who will be devoted to her family.   Nova absolutely loves other dogs! She gets along wonderfully with canine companions and would thrive in a home with a playful dog close to her size and age—or even an older dog that still enjoys a good game of chase. Having a confident canine friend will help Nova continue learning that the world is a fun and safe place.    Nova is already about 90% house-trained. She knows to go to the door when she needs to go outside, and because she's incredibly smart, we're confident she could easily learn to use a doggy door with just a little guidance.   Nova is young, eager to learn, and has so much love to give. She's looking for a local family that can meet her before adoption and recognize the incredible rattie waiting to shine. If you're willing to invest a little patience and a lot of love, Nova will reward you with years of loyalty, companionship, and unconditional love.   Could you be the one to help Nova discover just how wonderful life can be?   Novas imageevent album is  https://imageevent.com/newrattitude/supernovausinthehouse  If you are interested in adopting this dog, PLEASE READ THE DETAILED ADOPTION PROCESS information on our website at www. Story
🐾 Meet Bonnie – Tiny but Mighty! 🐾 Looking for a loyal best friend who’ll guard your couch, heart, and snack stash with fierce devotion? Meet Bonnie, a 1-year-old Rat Terrier mix with a big personality packed into a small, adorable body! Bonnie knows what (and who) she likes — and she’s not afraid to say it. Men with beards? Hard pass. Kids? Let’s just say she prefers a quieter crowd. But single ladies, take note — once Bonnie decides you’re her person, she’ll be your pint-sized protector, constant companion, and professional lap warmer. She’s sassy, loyal, and full of charm — a little dog with big “main character energy.” 💖 Bonnie’s dream home? A calm household, plenty of treats, no beards, no kids — just her favorite lady and a comfy lap to call her own! Our adoption process is usually quick but may take up to two weeks. When you find an animal you are interested in, we ask that you fill out an application on our website, PawsUp4Rescue.org/adopting as a first step so we can determine if your family is a good fit for the animal. If you are, then we will contact you to arrange a time for you and your family to meet the animal so you can decide if it is a good fit. If you currently have dogs, we require them to be present at the meeting to ensure it's a good fit all around. Once compatibility is determined, we move on to the paperwork and finalize the adoption. If the meet is not a good fit, we will keep your application on file for 6 months and will gladly consider your family for another dog.
