Tiny Dog, TD for short, came to us about 6 years ago. A buddy found her along the side of a road and nobody wanted her. Already having another rescue we took her in. She's very much attached to the second dog I have submitted (Koda) a blue wheeler female about the same age. TD prances like a little ballerina when she walks. She has a cute and funny personality. She likes to cuddle and to be close to you. She gets cold easily. She is house trained but needs to go out more frequently than most dogs. Koda is the same way and I dont know if one learned that from the other or not. She does not do well with aggressive dogs. *NOTE* TD is food aggressive, she has not bitten anyone, but knowing that she is, we have never given her treats by hand. We will place them on the floor. (This has worked well in avoiding the possibility of her biting someone or nipping them, she has been that way since we rescued her, even after working with her on the behavior)

This is the first step of the adoption process. No phone calls. If ad is still viewable, we are still accepting applications.    Meet Chance! Does this little guy belong with you? He is a 3 year old, 26 pound,  Rat/Fox Terrier (whatever he is.) Chance has lived with and been around children, cats, and a beagle. He is crate trained and house trained. He loves patrolling a fenced yard.   His favorite thing in the world is Stitch (the character.) He has several Stitch toys and carry them around in his mouth. He will even grab one and head outside. This boy is a big snuggler and loves to cuddle up under a blanket with you on the couch.   Chance is neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and microchipped. ADOPT CORA! Cora, a 2 year old, 14 pound spayed female Rat Terrier mix, is a happy active girl who loves everyone she meets, even kids, over age 8. She gets along great with the other small dogs in her foster home. She, however, doesn’t like larger dogs. If you have an equally active young dog Cora would like a playmate. Since she can be a bit of a pest when she wants to play, she is not a good match for a home with a non-playful or senior dog. Due to her prey drive NO CATS, BUNNIES etc. Cora loves to snuggle. When it’s bedtime Cora sleeps snuggled in bed under the blankets with her foster mom. Cora will also follow you around the house. Wherever you are is where she will be. You will never shower alone again. Small dog secure fenced yard required. Adopter must be located within 40 minutes of Steger, Illinois. She is house trained with reminders and uses potty pads. Cora’s adoption fee $495. Cora is up to date on shots, spayed, microchipped, fecal checked, heartworm negative and current on heartworm and flea prevention.
