Rascal is a 3-5 year old male Rat Terrier mix who found himself in a local shelter, picked up by Animal Control as a stray. He was not claimed by his family and entered rescue. As Rascal is so new to rescue, we are still learning his personality but one thing we do know for certain, he is very athletic and can scale a standard height chain link fence. Rascal will be a great addition to a family or single person, who has a 6 foot privacy fence or can walk him multiple times daily for exercise and potty breaks. He appears to be house trained and will be neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations at time of adoption. The suggested adoption donation for Rascal is a minimum of $500 and goes toward the high cost of veterinary care for our rescue dogs.Wag N Train Terrier Rescue adopts to an extended geographical area as long as we can locate a local volunteer to perform the required home visit. Approved adopters are required to travel to Omaha, NE to pick up their newly adopted dog. We do not arrange transport, or fly our rescue dogs without a "pet nanny". All of our dogs that come from a commercial breeding facility require a securely fenced yard AND a resident companion dog, unless the dog's bio states otherwise.
